I think they already have that mindset. These guys know whats at stake here. DM put this team together for this specific reason. I just think we fight like animals Every Game, match or exceed GSW intensity and we have no worries so to speak.

you build your team to beat the best and the team to beat has been GS ever since the rockets entered the category of a playoff contender. if not a narrative then its just reality and the truth then.
I've heard multiple times "Morey designed a team to beat the warriors" He just added the best available players he could and they made it work. They are building this up as some designed from the ground up kryptonite or something. If the warriors didn't exist, or played vastly different style, our team would look exactly the same.
and the jazz and minn and whatever scrub comes out of the east. his goal has always been to add the best players available. His philosophy has been around longer than theirs. nothing changed because of them.

Game 1 is key to the winner of the series imo. Rockets win then golden state will have it in there heads..maybe this Houston team can take us out and lose confidence. Warriors are mentally weak. Rockets lose I can see them getting down on themselves that they lost home court advantage already by losing game 1.
Itd be poetic justice if the rockets won at home in a game 7. The rockets respected the game, built good habbits, and put forth a solid effort in every regular season game this year. Warriors got mentally weird, got lots of techs, and coasted on and off. They brushed off each of our regular season wins against them with statements like “what month is it, we’ll be ite” Itd be great if the team that respected the regular season and remained humble and hungry all year won by virtue of having a game 7 at home.
nah, if we lose game 1, we're done this series. This ain't the Jazz or the Wolves, these are the defending champs and we need every advantage we can get so that means we cannot lose home court.

i do think tucker was signed with the GS death lineup in mind in addition to having another guy who can stick durant. otherwise there were guys like cj miles morey could have chased with the mle instead. luc i agree they would have tried to sign for the minimum in any case
