here's a cheap way go....if you're not into the fancy resorts... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1-VCWUtNm-4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm planning on mid January and it'll just be me. So far I'm leaning towards Salt Lake City. Cheap lodging in the city and easy access via public transportation are pretty appealing.
This. I went to Silver Star in BC, Canada. Besides Switzerland, it was some of the best snowboarding I've ever had. And the deal we had was amazing, stayed in a condo in the middle of the resort town. The skiing portion was FREE because it was early in the season, but we had a lot of snow. Free until the 18th of December IIRC. http://www.skisilverstar.com/ http://www.skisilverstar.com/specials/ski-free http://www.skisilverstar.com/my-mountain-info/mountain-conditions/webcams Another cheap destination I've been to was Angel Fire. We went to Lake Tahoe a few years ago....unfortunately their snow sucked...
I am going to Park City in mid-Feb with some friends for 4 nights and 4 days. $405 round trip flight and $1330 for hotel (it is being split between 4 people so $330)
