I agree, JV. I'd love to have him, but I don't think he's worth what some have bandied about here. We tend to undervalue our assets. Maybe it's because we're too close to them, but Cato, Mobes and Francis (hell, I can't believe anyone would mention trading JJ!) are seen quite differently around the league, in my opinion. Especially in the Eastern Conference.

Having said that, I'd love to get Snow if he was part of a package that got us Brand (I wish!) or Ray Allen.

Exactly my thinking in the DA Francis for Allen thread.

I would trade Mobley for Snow right away after we traded Francis for Ray Allen.

That's a pretty good backcourt. Snow has proven that he can run a team effectively, even with an SG that demands the ball like Iverson. He is the right guy to play with Allen.

Now if only we could get Rashard from Seattle too... send them Cato and filler, bring Rashard back home and Booth along for the ride.

    Yao/Booth
    Mo/Spoon
    Rashard/J. Jackson
    R.Allen/J. Jackson
    Snow/M. Jackson

I really, really like the look of this team... our scoring would certainly go up. Of course Brand is THE player to be next to Yao, but it just won't happen.

I love this trade. Even without Rashard I love it:

    Yao/Cato
    Mo/Cato/Spoon
    Jackson/Griffin/Pike
    R.Allen/Jackson/Pike
    Snow/MJ

It's time we start over. Francis and Mobley are history.

I don't get why everyone is THAT high on Snow. If we could get him cheap, sure, but Mobley is worth way more than Snow. Snow is a backup PG nearing the downside of his career, let's face it.

If Philly wants to trade him, there is a reason for that.

He has absolutely no 3-point range, and his shooting is suspect even from closer to the basket. Also, I wonder how many of his assists just come from passing to AI who shoots and shoots and shoots. If you are the guy that passes to AI 30 times a game, and AI shoots 30 times and makes 10, voilĂ , 10 assists.

I don't understand this actual deal that is being proposed. If the sixers trade Snow, who plays PG for them?

Snow is old and battled. $2-3 mil a year for 2 years is right.

I would part with Spoon and maybe Pike for Esnow and move SF to the 2. I WOULD not trade Cat/SF/Cato or MoT for this guy. He can set up an offense but he cant shoot. Plus I thinK Cats defense is comparable to his.. (maybe better in my biased opinion) but someone like Ray Allen I would listen.

*remember people we try to make trades that would make our team better not worse.

If we could get RLewis would be awesome too!!!!! (I would give up Cat or Cato for him)

    SF / MJ
    JJ / AGriff/ Pike
    RLewis / Boki
    MoT / SPoon
    Yao / Padgett or whoever

    Smells good to me.

JJ can handle setting up the offense and ball handling responsibilities.

That is a dream. If that came true, oh man, Houston would be one of the best 4 teams in the NBA. Who could top a back court of Snow/Allen with Mobley coming off the bench?

Snow Blows. Why even give this a second thought. He isn't going to help us.
