It won't take him nearly that long. Sixers did their part by pretending to give Royce White a shot but knowing all along he was destined for the chopping block.
"Why cant penguins fly?" - Les Alexander "Hahaha...that is easy. Their wings are better at swimming and no bird can excel at both." - Royce White (NBA legend) "Because they cant afford the plane tickets."
While you guys laugh at Royce I seriously think he has a more serious mental problem other than anxiety! Never hated on him but what a waste of talent.
Why would they waive him when he was shaping up and going to be the next Dennis Rodman. I don't get these NBA Gm's.
I didn't think the Sixers would waive him because of the potential backlash and lawsuits. But wow, looks like Hinkie doesn't give a damn and just want to get rid of him. Interesting to see if any team gives him a tryout. I'm going to say no.
I think his biggest problem is being a selfish, lying, conniving, pathetic, lazy jerk who impulsively blames all of his problems on other people and refuses to hold himself accountable.
Well, at least he can always lean back on being a human being...I mean that is an accomplishment right? It'll be hilarious if he does go the lawsuit route. Because .. A.) What can he claim here? Playing in the NBA is not a right, it is a privilege. The Sixers should be able to easily claim that they let him go for performance reasons and be done with it. Even if he makes a strong case that they released him because of mental health issues, it is still the Sixers right to let him go for any reason. With his performance and lack of effort though I don't see how he can make a strong case towards anything. B.) If he does so he will ensure that no other team will ever pick him up. Whose going to want a player that is going to make a big issue if he's released? Right now the guy should be working on his game and with his agent to try and get into a NBDL team. I'm sure there are many NBDL teams that would give him a shot, either that or play overseas. That is of course considering he even wants to further pursue basketball.
Right now his biggest problem is basketball. He's simply not good enough at it presently to make the rest of it worthwhile.
