I really like McDaniels as we'll. He averaged more blocks than Embiid. He could be our 3 and D guy.

I wouldn't even care if we gave up a first or Jones(or Dmo).

Lin and our 2015 1st (or Jones) for for 2 very early second rounders in a loaded draft? Sign me up.

I want to keep NOLA 1st and TJones. I'd like to instead trade DMo and or our 1st next year.

Why in the world would we give them a lottery pick here? I really hope you are wrong.

This would clear space for a max signing also.

It should be our 1st which would be in mid 20's or late 20's.

That would be a perfect trade, free's up cap space, gets us 2 very talented second rounders that won't count against the cap until after we use our cap space, and this rumor matches up with Lebron's decision rumor to be today.

So what if Lebron decided to go to Cleveland, we trade Lin for McDaniels, Grant and we announce that we sign Bosh? I think i'd j*zz my self.

    Beverley/Canaan/Johnson
    Harden/Daniels
    Parsons/McDaniels/Grant
    Bosh/Covington
    Howard

Lots of young talent off the bench!

Why would anyone in their right might think that the Rockets are actually going to bring back anything of value from the Sixers in the Lin trade? Especially a young draft pick with high upside. The Rockets are going to be the ones GIVING, not TAKING.

Geezus folks. Lets all get a grip please.

We'll probably give up a first + DMo or TJones.

Do you have a insider telling you that we are guaranteed to get ****ed over when we trade Lin? Do you forget your talking about Daryl the wizard Morey here? Morey doesn't get ****ed, he's the ****er.

I personally think Lin's value really went up during this free agency. Dammit if Jodie Meeks is worth 6+ million, Frye worth 8+ million, then Lin is worth 7-8 million against the cap.

The sixers have LOTS of cap space and cash to pay Lin's balloon contract, the sixers have 8 rookies on their roster this year, Hinkie most likely values Lin and or Motiejunas higher the the average GM, no reason why we couldn't get a couple of second rounder in return for Lin, maybe Motiejunas and a future first or second pick.

Maybe Hinke just happens value Lin a little more than some of the people here on clutchfans. I mean is it really that hard to accept. This is good news if your a rox fan. I swear some people on here are bothered with any opinions that Lin maybe is better than just pure trash.

I bet it's something like Lin, OUR 1st, Dmo, and Capela for McDaniels, Grant, and their 2nd.

I thought the purpose of trading Lin was to create additional cap space, just like the Asik trade to NO.

Mcdaniels and Grant are both unsigned 2nd rounders and currently wont count against the cap. I also think Mcdaniels is an excellent fit with the rockets bench. Hes a defensive guy.
