Lol @ people thinking Lin should start over MCW. Lin is not gona start over MCW. He'll either start alongside MCW (since they both can play combo guards) or be a super sixthman of that team, but no way they're going to stunt the development of the reigning ROY just for a one year stop gap in Lin.

Why again are LOF'ers complaining about the MCW/Lin dynamic?

To me its obvious that Lin and MCW could very well start together and play together. Lin is more of a scoring guard anyways, and MCW can guard 2's.

If Lin goes to Philly, the LOF will LOVE IT. He's going to score a ton of points and get attention in a sizable market. All the while the team sucks enough to actually give him the keys to the car to drive their offense.

Philly, Milwaukee, or the Knicks(if they lost Melo & went in rebuild) would be a LOF'ers wet dream.

Media is dumb. They think Hinkie is just stupid so he'll do anything. Look at the roster moves! Look at the losses! What an idiot.

They made the same jokes about Morey when he was shuffling the decks and then BAM he ended up with two stars.

I mean seriously, ESPN reporters flat out laughed at the Rockets on air.

I was at that game, the Amway Center. Lin was riding the bike most the game. He barely played. I beleive he was hurt. Why dont you compare a healthy Lin To MCW.

Anyways I think their style of play will complement each other if they play together.

MCW can shoot and defend 2's. So I would agree

I feel like whatever LOFers existed in the past, there aren't too many around these days. Most of the posts on this thread are from anti-LOFers or moderates-in-the-middle, and the anti-LOFers are either creating imaginary LOF boogiemen to attack or even confusing the moderates as LOFers.

Can someone show me a true, pristine, card-carrying LOF?

If Lin goes to Philly, he'd probably split time with MCW, JRich, and maybe Tony Wroten, and get a little more playing time and scoring opportunities than currently, which is what LOFs want.

If he stays in Houston (because we don't get a top 3 FA), which he might if Morey wants to save the draft pick and just lets Lin leave next year, then it means we still have a good backup PG for another year. His trade value will in fact increase during the season.

I think most "LOFs" here are either trolls who enjoy watching the natives here riled up or haters impersonating "irrational Lin fans"....
I've encountered a few on Twitter... But not so much here.
I think "Moreyball" held back Lin more than anything else.... Lin will have to earn his playing time.... I think he'll succeed in a conventional offense... But only time will tell.
If Lin stays with the Rockets, it will be a train wreck for Lin, Lin fans, and Rockets fans.

We have to compensate. They took #bewell from us too. They set us up for the now, while we set them up for the future

It's good business. I'd be shooked if we didn't give that up

Just find his fan site on Facebook.

My wife says it's just about what you get here. Irrational unconditional worship, like he had thousands of brothers and sisters. If you try to criticize him, you'll feel like Neo in the Matrix 2, fighting ever-multiplying Agent Smiths.
