Not a huge shocker. The only thing I really dont trust here is the "fluidity" of trade talks. There is nothing fluid going on I'm sure. A potential deal was probably struck weeks ago. These guys are buds. They probably came to terms over a drunk ping pon... I mean.... table tennis game weeks ago.

This was the most probable destination for him when it was reported that they had deals ready to go to ship Lin out. Doesn't seem like much if anything is different?

That's the last thing they want. Whether Lin is there next year or not they are going to be a bottom 5 team.

I think Sam Hinkie might be programmed by Morey.

Yes, that is true. It does seem to coincide with Doc Rocket's 4th of July post, that makes me somewhat hopeful. Nothing Lin at all, but we need as much cap room as possible before Melo makes his decision.

So they're having a beer while discussing Lin?

Lin is going to do well. Just like Lowry and Dragic, we will regret trading our PG. :(

my guess is your feelings would have been hurt too, were you in his position. he gets the money regardless.

lin's a good guy. you can call him out for what he does on the court. but off the court, he's a prince. really a top notch human being. it's ok to acknowledge that and still say he frustrates you on the court.

Then Beverley, then Canaan, then the next PG we acquire.

    DM's curse.

    Can't be good at everything.

I guess it's happening. Well, at least the part about a deal before July 4 with Philly (1776).

I don't get why people keep saying this. It really makes no sense at all. For one, we did not trade Dragic. We made him an offer, he signed a better offer with the Suns. We traded Lowry because he wanted out and we ended up getting Harden. There is no regret there at all. The only PG we should regret trading away was Cassell.

I personally don't care how well Lin does on his next team. If he does great, good for him. If he sucks it up, I am just glad he is not on our team.

Kirk: 1984 "The needs of the one outweigh the needs of the many"

We're going to dump him. May as well be classy while doing it.

No sympathy for him. He's making 15 this year.
