    http://mweb.cbssports.com/nba/eye-o...sidered-trading-carter-williams-to-draft-exum

Article mentions it due to their "fascination" with Dante Exum

Would make sense since Brett Brown coached the with the Australian national team

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Dante Exum met with the Sixers, Pistons and Suns today. One of the most intriguing players in the draft.</p>&mdash; Alex Kennedy (@AlexKennedyNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/AlexKennedyNBA/statuses/466772572496232448">May 15, 2014</a></blockquote>

MCW isn't that good. Just a stat stuffer. I wouldn't trade him just yet though.

Like I said in the random trade thread in GARM, Hinkie will do this if he can get both Wiggins and Exum out of this draft.

    So, here's my proposal.

    Asik/Lin to Philly.

    #10, #25, MCW to Orlando

    #4 to Philly

Philly drafts Wiggins and Exum with 3 and 4.

    Now they've got

Lin/Exum/Wiggins(or Parker)/Asik/Noel. That's a good unit with the youngsters and plenty of salary cap flexibility going forward to bring in a monster in a year or two through free agency.

I don't think they'll get the #4 pick for anything less than MCW + #10 pick + another player (likely Noel because they don't really have anything else of value, maybe a future 1st), so I think they'll be overpaying badly.

I think it would be a mistake to pass on Parker for Exum too considering they have a PG and need a SF.

MCW, Parker, and Noel have the potential to be a damn good combination.

A clear cap to chase a max free agent.

I think cap space to pursue Melo, or the poster just forgot about the Rockets getting a return for players.

I really like Exum but its a hard sell trading MCW for an upgraded version of himself.

He demonstrated an ability to get steals -> 1.9 per game, good enough for #7 overall

Edit: His DefRtg is atrocious at 108.1

Dante Exum is the next penny Hardaway.. He will be a star along with wiggins / Parker.

Joel embiid I leaning towards bust. People are way too high on this guy for a short amount of time..

Not that it really matters but brown hasn't coached Exum yet as he hasn't played for aus when Brett brown has coached and perhaps he may step down from team aus to focus on the nba. however I'm guessing he allready knew him.
