End of game situations. Just a thread to pass the time...add more situations if you can think of any...

    Need a 3 point shot:
    C - Miller (sets pick)
    PF - Battier (inbound passer)
    SF - Budinger
    SG - Martin
    PG - Brooks

    Need a defensive stop:
    C - Yao
    PF - Hayes
    SF - Battier
    SG - Lee
    PG - Lowry

Need to score quickly from full court:
    C - Yao
    PF - Scola
    SF - Martin
SG - Lowry (secondary ballhandler to break press)
    PG - Brooks

Need to take a foul and make free throws:
    C - Yao
    PF - Battier/Scola
    SF - Martin
    SG - Lowry
    PG - Brooks

Switch Brooks as SG and Lowry as PG and you've got a heckava team.

Don't sleep on Scola for the up tempo lineup, he runs with the best of them.

Cool I just looked at the Rockets player's stats from last season. I was surprised Scola had a better % than Battier...

I left Brooks at PG to be the primary ballhandler with Lowry being the secondary. Either way it works, I suppose...

    Lineup I'd like to see:
    C - Hill
    PF - Patterson
    SF - Budinger
    SG - Taylor
    PG - Lowry

Yao can stroke the three ball in a very desperate situation

Drawing Fouls/Get to 5 fouls quickly in the fourth:

    PG: Lowry
    SG: Martin
    SF: Battier
    PF: Scola
    C: Miller

Please argue this lineup if I missed someone that's better at drawing fouls.

    Slump breaker:

    PG: Brooks
    SG: Martin
    SF: Chase
    PF: Jordan Hill
    C: Yao

I would want my 7'6" guy passing in, in a desperate last min situation.
He should be the only one able to see exactly who is open, who is going to be open and who is cutting towards the basket. :p

He's also the perfect guy to catch an inbound pass and either execute a jump hook or do a quick pass out to an open Brooks, Martin or CBud.
