Wow, here's a little follow up- Mo Taylor fits Doc's "I trusted you" clue. He assumed he'd be sticking around, but if he were traded, that wouldn't be the case. According to RealGM's salary info (which is I believe done by the guy who used to run Tony's page?), if they were to say, I dunno, trade Reef and Reeves for a free agent(s) (like Olajuwon), there salary obligations would drop to a paltry 25.57363 million for next season. Roughly 17 mill below the cap. And if Ike Austin and Grant Long opt out with their player options, they could fall around 25 million below the cap. Now, how does Mo Taylor fit in? Well, before you say "Mo won't play in Canada" Who do he almost sign with before Seattle and Houston? Toronto. It was a deal Mo was all for, when Falked "falked up" and thought they could do better; "oops". 25 million, could get you Mo and Mutumbo (both Falk guys) and room to spare. Stromile is getting more minutes-Are they showcasing his abilities more, or getting him ready to supplant Othella? Both of those guys we have a pretty fair idea Rudy likes a lot. Wouldn't either one also solve the scare of Mo leaving via FA? Am I getting closer? ------------------ The Serious Police are watching. Follow the rules or be assimilated. Shandon is underrated. Does anybody know if Hakeem was on the roadtrip or if he's been on the bench supporting his team since he went on the IR? I haven't seen many games lately, and I'm stuck at work tonight. ------------------
It appears that Cato's injury may have caused more trouble than initially thought. Investigating... I hope monkey wrench does not become the word of the day...well, maybe I do a little! I can't help it - I'm sentimental!! ------------------ Wait, there is another...
meaning WHAT? That Hakkem was packaged with Cato and now that Cato´s injured the deal may not go down? That´s the sentimental part? DOC! FOR CHRISSAKES! YOU ARE DRIVING ME NUTS! ------------------ "I have posted so much that what I say must be true"
