SCOTT Alexander spends £100,000 a year on designer clothes and salon treatments – but they’re not presents for a girl. Nope, the cash all goes on maintaining his own looks.

Ever since he was 18, Scott has gone to great lengths to keep a tanned, toned and trim physique.

It’s a lifestyle that’s landed him the title of UK’s Vainest Man – one that he’s keen to shrug off.

“I think the word vain means self-obsessed,” Scott, 32, says, “But I’m not – I just want to improve myself.”

“In my teens I didn’t have a good physique. I studied hard and wasn’t really into going out with girls or socialising. Then when I went to university started training and my body developed quite quickly.

“I very quickly caught on that my physique would be my ace card to use to excel in business.

Looking good ... Scott age 19

Scott runs a successful property business and a life-coaching company, catering to A-list stars. He splits his time between Manchester, London and LA.

“I meet a lot of very blessed individuals who look fantastic,’ he says, “You want to try and at least look the best you can.”

That explains then why Scott spends so much on his appearance. Every morning, without fail, he does a fat-burning workout.

Scott says: “I get up at 6am and do 45 minutes cardiovascular training. Then after work I do weights for another hour and a half.

“If I’m doing something on TV or a photoshoot I’ll probably do another half an hour cardio before I go to bed.”

And then there’s the regular grooming treatments.

“I go to a salon called The Refinery in Mayfair. It’s very male orientated, very masculine.

“I go there every couple of weeks to have a manicure and microdermabrasion on my face. It blasts off the dead layers of your skin and keeps the cells rejuvenated and fresh.

“I also have Botox every three to six months. It enhances your appearance and helps fight the aging process a little bit.

“Makeup’s not my thing but I have my eyebrows tinted slightly because they go really light in the summer. I have a weekly sunbed too.

“A few years back I had porcelain veneers to get the Hollywood smile,” he says, “The whitest you can go is B1 white – and that’s what I had.”

“I felt it was important for business for my mouth to look clean and healthy.

“I’m keeping an eye on advances in anti-aging treatments that are non invasive.

"Instead of having an artificial filler put in, they can put young, fresh skin cells."

But muscly Scott draws the line at evasive surgery like liposuction or implants.

“It’s too personal and risky. I’d be crossing a line. Unless I had to have it for medical reasons I wouldn’t go under the knife."

Scott’s body regime doesn’t stop there though. He also follows a strict low carb, high protein diet and relies heavily on protein drinks.

“My friends nickname me the machine," he reveals.

“I don’t really sleep. We go out and party, but I’m disciplined. When everyone else is recovering the next day, I’ll be in the gym and attending to my business.

“I can probably spend a £100,000 a year on my appearance and clothes, but it evens out because I generate business from being in shape.

Six pack?... More like a tenpack!
“365 days a year I’m in photo shoot condition."

Scott’s even has No1 tattooed on his arm to remind him to be the best.

“I haven’t got my tattoo because I think that I’m no1,” he explains.

“When I don’t feel like training, I look at my tattoo and it motivates me to get back on target and on top of my game.

“If I took my shirt off and I had No1 tattooed on me and I was out of shape, then I it would look a lot worse!

But Scott insists he’s not vain.

“I don’t look in the mirror and think I look absolutely fantastic.

“You’re actually picking fault with yourself and trying to improve and compete with other like minded males.

Women can’t get enough of Scott’s rippling six pack.

“Girls are aspiring to have guys that look like Brad Pitt and David Beckham, and it’s putting the pressure back on guys now to look good.

“I find the girls like it that I’m well groomed. But I haven’t got a girlfriend at the moment. I haven’t got time!"

This thread reminds me of that soutpark episode where queer eye for the straight guy show has brainwashed everyone into thinking that "metrosexual" is "in" style. Basically, all the characters are dressed like the douches in these threads. F'ing HILARIOUS!
