SF is playing crap these two games. Rudy is as horrible as a coach could be in these two games.
If you watched Kings-Mav game tonight, that is basketball. Those were two teams. Is Rox a team? not really. No team plays, only jump shots. It is not like Rox has good guners like Kings or Mav does. ROX is a POOR shooting team.
It is time to shout at Rudy: F*** ISO! make some team plays or get out of here!
I am so sick of ISO.

I don't know whose fault this is but we have terrible time management skills.

With 40 seconds left and the Rockets down by 4, why the heck do we run the clock down to 24 seconds left.

We couldve easily made a shot within 10 seconds, played defense (instead of forcing to foul) and gotten another opportunity.

Rudy could blame Steve or Yao for not calling a timeout in overtime but Rudy just stood by in regulation and watched Cat dribble the time down until we got bailed out by Yao's free throws. Then we had to foul Stackhouse.

Whenever we have about 35 seconds left, have we ever put up a quick shot to take advantage of the 2 for 1? No instead we dribble it down til the clock runs down givng the opponent the last opportunity to score. God knows we can take an early jumper - we jack up those shots all the time - why dont we do that to gain an extra possession?

Rudy needs to take the heat on this one instead of pushing it on his players. It's right in line with everything else we do at critical times in the game.

    Come on guys,

Steve had a bad game, but who would you play in his place? Mooch? Not a chance.

Steve wants to get better, but his lack of effort on defense is really hurting the team.

He constantly gets outhustled by lesser players. Tyrone Lue....please.

Also, Steve is now shooting at a lower clip then Mobley.

We need shooters on this team desperatly and our 2nd best big man is coming off the bench..

Rudy needs to shake up the starting lineup...Posey out, Tmo Or Hawkins in, EG out, MoT in.

Some of you people have to be absolute morons, that or you have no basketball knowledge whatsoever. Everyone has a bad game or two, just because he is not like Kobe right now putting up 40+ a night does not mean he should be benched. Get off his back, the guy is still playing hurt somewhat, and all he has done this roadtrip is have 33 pts, 9 asst and 9 reb against the Celtics and against the Knicks he had 19 pts and 12 reb. Its one bad game, get off his back.

The problem is that Steve Francis is never good at running the fastbreak unless he's the one who finishes it in the wing.

I don't even want to care about him being crap at fastbreaking as a ******* PG. But he should know his own limitation. If you are crap at something, do not do it then.

it is coach's and guards' responsibility to call timeout and call the play. So we have to blame SF and RT.

Another thing that Rox needs to improve is on defense. Yao is almost always helping others. stop the penetration. everybody glue on your guy! you can't always count on Yao to make up the hole. He wears out easily.

Good lord!! He had a terrible game shooting but he nearly ended up with a triple double.

You guys forget this is the second youngest team in the league.

You people sicken me (some of you).

When Francis plays well, we pretty much ALWAYS win. When he doesn't, we don't always lose. Case in point: road blowout to suns, games that should've been ours: Wash, LA. He helps us a hell of a lot more than he hurts us on just about any given night.

WTF does that tell you about benching him? How can that even be suggested? By a ROCKET FAN??? Maybe I could understand it coming from a Suns fan...

It is true that every team has ups and downs. The problem with Rox is it is totally unpredictable.

When they have the shooting touch, they can win any team. When they don't get hot, they barely put up a fight, just like the games with Mav, and the first half of this game.

Are they going to be like this forever? Get in the court and jack up a dozen jumpers, and either lead by 10 or trail by 15?

A good team has to be versatile, with multiple offenses. run team plays, pass, get easy layup, shot open jumpers, etc. You have to have more reliable offense, take high percentage shots. That is not the case with Rox. Right now, watching Rox play is like playing slot machine, only luck matters.

And for god sake, do some shooting practise! Mav, Kings shot well almost every night! Don't always use the excuse "everyone has bad shooting nights"! Admit "our shooting sucks" and do something to improve it!

SF and Cat think they are good shooters, but they can and need to improve their shooting! Also, they can learn something from Van Exel, play tougher!

    Nice post...

But, seriously, do we need *another* good player? More role players please...

We have Steve (for better or worse) and Yao to build around; if everyone else would accept their roles or if the Rox got people who would, the team would be better off.

Where's the spark off the bench?
The guy who's money from the 3?
    The enforcer?

I honestly cannot think of the last time Rudy and the Rox actually went 2-for-1 at the end of a quarter/half/game.

That's pathetic. Isn't that easy, fundamental basketball?
