    In time the truth always comes out. That is why for the most part, it's best not to say too much and wait. From every firing in sports or corporations that I've seen, nobody actually comes out and says why at first. If ya wait a few months, everything eventually comes out.

    The opinion I'm getting out of this is Hakeem working out with Yao is just for show and no real teaching could ever come out of it, and its not a big deal at all...
    Which just supports the point:
    Its NOT a big deal, so WHY DENY IT from happening? If its just silly stuff and not a threat to anything, who cares.

    For an analogy, its like saying Kobe Bryant needed Magic Johnson to "teach" him and mentor him on his way up, transform him in 2 practices...okay we know that sounds ridiculous (as is the notion of Hakeem making Yao dominant). But why would a coach stop that from happening? All it could have been was Hakeem being bored and wanting something to do. Man, ego ego ego...
