Well what if she decides to re-marry and the new guy's intials are J.B. also......like Joey Buttafuco, for instance...
sorry to hear that jeff. i'm sure steve francis had something to do with this. probably scott boras too.
Damn, man. I'm glad that you guys are still cool and everything, but a post like this is shocking! I've never met either one of you guys, but things always seemed good between y'all. Stuff like this makes me realize why I don't even think about marriage <I wonder if it can ever last between two people forever>, and barely even seriously think about dating someone on a steady basis. Does this mean more good BBS posts and work on the website? Hope things go well for you. Life as a bachelor isn't that bad!
Who's this Jeff guy everyone is talking about??? Hope all goes well for you, look at the bright side you now have more time to spend with all of us...
sorry to hear that Jeff i hope things work out for the better but remember that you have all of us here on cf.net that are on your side if you ever need someone to talk to
Condolences to both of you. Having seen both a divorce (parents) and a couple that stayed together when they probably shouldn't have (aunt and uncle) I would say you are probably doing the right thing though. Hopefully you will both end up finding a new partner. I wish you both the best. - Hydra
Wow. So sorry to hear that Jeff. Best of luck to both of you. Though I only know you through an anonymous BBS, through both of your posts I felt like I really knew the both of you. Again, best of luck.
Its gonna be a wee bit difficult if you guys are living together and one of you starts dating. Maybe its funny in the sitcoms but not so funny in real life. You want to be careful there....if you guys are really focused on keeping a friendship, that could be the fly in the ointment. Sorry it didnt work out. Good luck with Single Jeff Version 2.0. (Ladies love musicians, btw....hell if Kenny G can get play you are going to be a-ok)
My wife and I will. She would kill me before she would divorce me. Jeff, sorry to hear about this. One question...are you going to remain a vegetarian?
Hard to know what to say. Seems like a dual Sorry/Congratulations might be in order since you two seem to be so grounded in your decision and affection for one another.
Good luck Jeff, your a good person and fortunately enough to met you a few years back. Best of luck my good man...
Apparently it takes a little more than just putting two good people together to insure a succesful marriage. Best Wishes for you both.
Man, that sucks. It sounds like you guys are handling it well though, and best of luck to both of you. Somehow, I think this is all Scott Boras' fault.
WOW, good sunday morning to you too! What can one say to someone getting a divorce? "I'm sorry to hear this?!" But its for the better of two people. "Congrats?!" But it was a seperatoin of two people who made a union at one time. Til death do they part. "Good Luck!?" But maybe its too soon to be calling Jennifer Aniston!? Whatever the case Jeff, good luck to both of you. I know its hard nowadays. In my family, out of the 4 of us siblings (I'm the youngest) 3 got married and two divorced then later in their 40's remarried to someone fantastic whome everyone in the family loves! Maybe people get married too early nowadays? I'm 38 , still single and still think its too early! Anyhow, God bless both you guys and hope it is a smooth seperation. You both seem like incredibly nice people.
Jeffery: We'll see how you and the missus handle this. I know we don't have a lot in common, but this is an area I'm actually good at. Any advice/shoulders needed, lemme know. Sorry about your sitch, seriously. In my past, there is hardly anything harder.
Wow, hearing this news is shocking to me, to say the least . I have been lucky enough to meet both Jeff and Mrs. JB in person. And they were 2 of the nicest people I have ever met. So this is news that saddens me, but I am happy that you and her have decided to remain good friends. Not having kids will definitely make this easier (but still hard). I wish you, Jeff, all the best and the same for Mrs. JB.
