It is a shame that ALL of the folks on the plane had to die. My condolences go out to all of the families and may all of the deceased rest in peace, regardless of their looks and talent.
Now all we have to do is wait for the 10 albums full of bad studio reject songs and filler material that the record company will release
I was watching CNN's Worldbeat late Saturday night/early Sunday morning when CNN International broke in with breaking news. Immediately I knew something serious had happened...Aaliyah's plane crashed. The British anchor said that R. Kelly may have been on the plane. That's where I think the R. Kelly rumor started. It's really sad. MTV keeps replaying Diary in which Aaliyah talks about how she wants to be remembered when she is long gone. She was only in her early 20's. RIP
I definitely agree that this a sad tragedy, but not just for Aaliyah... My thoughts are with all the families that lost members due to that plane crash. R.I.P.
My friend and next-door neighbor (Derek) was supposed to be on the plane (he was her stylist). He didn't get on b/c they didn't have room for his stuff, but when me and my friends heard about the plane going down, we thought he was on it. You can imagine how relieved we all were when we found out he was okay. -Deji
Plus, we already filled out Aaliyah's threesome with film critic Pauline Kael and movie actor Troy Donohue who both died within about a week of Aaliyah.
