Normally, I would say play them limited minutes--but I've seen how dirty Seattle can play ... I wouldn't put it past them to try to injure our star players on purpose...

This team is so impacted by on the court chemistry that messing with any kind of rotation seems foolish to me.

PLay them normal minutes through the first 3 quarters. If the game is in question bring htem back significantly later in the 4th, becuase you still want to win, and still want to practice winning.

Dallas is a young, well-rested, and deep team. The Rockets have to conserve every bit of energy they can get. There is such a thing as foolish pride. Refusing to rest Mcgrady and Yao on Wednesday would be a good example of it.

I voted to play them their normal minutes. Is one night off or one night with limited minutes really going to make that much of a difference? I highly doubt it. That being the case, I'd just as soon see the Rockets do everything in their power to win the game and go into the playoffs with the confidence of a 7 game winning streak.

If McGrady twists his ankle or injures his hip - our season is over.

    We gain absolutely nothing.

What happens to that confidence if they do everything in their power to win and still end up losing?

rest them or give tmac the green light. have him jack up every shot and go for wilt's record. if he make his first 10 - then we might have something..

Since Seattle doesn't have anything to play with y'all think they are going to play Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis much?

I'm with letting Yao and T-Mac play very limited minutes, no more than 15, so they keep sharp. I imagine their will be a firestorm of criticism if in the first game of the playoffs both of them play poorly. If they play normal minutes people are going to be screaming about JVG wearing out his stars in a meaningless game. If they don't play at all people are going to be screaming about JVG sitting them out so they got out of rythm.

I don't even want to think about an injury. Knock on wood.

I chose to play them, but limited minutes. I remember reading that Ray Allen either has asked, or is thinking of asking, to sit the last games of the season. If this is the case we could probably pretty easily rest our guys and still come out with a win.

I think going into the playoffs with a 7 game winning streak would really boost our confidence so hopefully we can come through without playing our big guns too many minutes.

Give 'em both tickets to Year of the Yao and let them have the night off. Popcorn and BonBons are on Yao.

I thought we couldn't activate him before the playoffs started?

Anyway, if we can activate him for the last regular season game I would like to see him play 15 - 20 minutes (split the rest of the minutes for Yao and Deke), to see if he's ready to play...

and, less than 20 minutes for Tmac and Sura...

Got to 50 wins. Got the seed locked up. I already lost my season record bet against a Sonics fan friend of mine. Play them limited minutes and not at all in the 4th.

No sh*t! That little Ridnauer punk is the second coming of Stockton in that regard.
