So if you don't include the half decade of him coaching a good team and only count the two **** teams he coached for his W/L record doesn't look good?

    Hmmm.....

The Knicks are ass, not because D'Antoni, the Lakers are too, not because of D'Antoni, look at the rosters, D'Antoni had a 40-32 record with the Lakers the season they had Howard and where a mess, the next season (27-55) the only player that wasn't a total joke was Gasol and he played 60 games (Kobe played 6).

So he gets none of the blame for the bad teams he's coached but he gets all of the credit for the good team he coached? Seems reasonable.

I lived in NYC during the Pringles years. It was not fun to watch. Plus the guy is a quitter.

Mike D needed Nash more than Nash needed him

No he shouldn't get too much credit or blame in either scenario, the roster plays a huge part.

Pops can go coach the 76'rs, their not going to win. JBB can go coach the Warriors, their still going to win.

As much as I hate Pringles and despise Les, in Pringles's defense, those were some ****ty teams before he got there and after he left.

Same in LA. He gives excuses and throws people under the bus so that he doesn't get blame for the failure.

Don't forget that his offenses (his expertise) have looked terrible with ball dominant star players. None of the players on this team fit his scheme, and those thinking Harden will be the next Nash are in for a rude awakening. This was a terrible hire.

    NEWSFLASH:

Our team is closer to those "dysfunctional" Knicks and Lakers teams that to the Suns and what they had in the front office at that time:mad:

This is how ClutchFans assigns blame/credit. If said poster likes the person, only credit is given. If said poster hates the person, only blame is assigned. 70% of the time it works every time.

He's been involved in nothing but train wrecks since the Suns. He hasn't turned any of them around or even improved the teams.

This isn't true, Marc Jackson was coach of the Warriors before Kerr with essentially the same roster and their team was lottery.

Uh are you serious? I don't think so. The last yr he coached they were a play off team and that year is the closest they had to the same roster

    Minnesota 2004–05 31-Games 19 12
    Minnesota 2008–09 63-games 20 43

    39 wins and 55 losses - 41.5% winning percentage

Compare to 6 years of crap coaching from D'Antoni
How many games did Philly win last year?
