When Amen gets his supermax and gets to make demands he says go get him, you go get him.

Maybe the league does us a favor and gives us one of those Doncic-value deals too. You get Landale, Nate Williams and a future 2nd.

Love to have him but much as I watched his game so far Asur handling is no way near Amen level due to him having less chance to develop. JB doesn’t trust him bringing the ball yet with the Asur and with Cade/Ivey in the backcourt he might never get a chance to develop. There’s a reason why every scout put Amen least five spot ahead of Asur on draft night and him getting drafted at 5 was a surprise (but great pick)

He looks like the Amen MyPlayer before he got enough VC to have Amen's actual stats tbh. That's the only way I can describe it, he doesn't have that same "oh ****" factor that Amen has. I actually don't think he has it as much as Jalen does. He's still a really good swiss army knife type player, but Ausar looks more like the Igoudala comp I thought Amen was before I realised he's an actual superhero pretending to be a basketball player. It's like Amen came from a different dimension, saw Ausar and went "yeah go on then, I'll look like that" so Ausar's the regular person version.

Ausar and Amen starting together wouldn’t work at the nba level. Two great athletes but non shooters. Not right now with their current progress

somebody educate me on how good Ausar's been this year. is the gap between them that big? I'm one of few that's not that high on Amen (or at least hasn't shown yet) - I still think his lack of shooting is a wait and see.

    I know you guys disagree

Ausar is a little behind in development due to injury, but he is starting to look very good. I don't think Detroit lets him go. Detroit also is on a very good path to be competitive for a long time. Cade is the kind of Tier 1 star that people will want to go play with, he is that good.

Congratulations to Amen Thompson on becoming the first person who has gone, in just two years, from being a draft prospect Rockets fans wanted none of to being a player Rockets fans want two of.

Sure but both of them cant shoot 3s that would just hurt spacing.

I personally would not give up Reed Sheppard for Ausar Thompson, but I have seen enough flashes from Sheppard to believe that his offensive upside is very high. Sheppard is a perfect offensive foil for Amen if he is hitting his shots.

Ehh the Pistons are not really in Detroit, they are in Auburn Hills, which is very nice and wealthy. It is where the wealthy people moved when they left Detroit. Also - the Thompsons twins are a little different than typical young men, I don't think that they would necessarily make the same choices everyone else would. Having said that, I don't think Amen will want to leave the Rockets - and if he did, it would probably be for Miami or Orlando.

This is probably something they would do at the end of their careers if it happens.

But we've had a lot of twins in NBA history, the Lopez brothers have played together for a short moment, I don't know if the Morris brothers have. I don't think its that big of a deal and if anything they probably finally enjoy not always being associated with their brother. See it from their POV, growing up they were likely always associated with the other brother it might be nice to finally be your own man.

Listening to Amen when he talks about competing against his brother it sounds like he's out to prove he's better than his brother right now rather than trying to be on the same team as him. I'm sure as he matures and gets more sentimental, as tends to happens with men, he might have some desire to team up with him but I doubt he's going to turn down millions to do so and on, what we hope to be at least, a very good team.

As a being respecting siblings in general, they should listen to their hearts.

    • Ausar lost half a year to the blood clot and Amen was injured last year for 2 months.

    • Amen is ahead, Ausar's team got better and I believe he will get better/catch up as well.
