here is your original question. "And how do you know everything else he said wasn't also a typical GM answer?"

he didn't say everything else he said is a typical GM answer so i don't assume and pretend to know everthing else he said is a typical GM answer.

    how do i contradict myself?

LOL... this is a trick question isn't it? In an attempt to not sound racist or stereotypical, I will say this; birds of the same feather flock together.

It's obvious you tried to stereotype but you are just too much a chicken to admit it.

Was there any reason to this post other than an attempt to provoke me? This is a very sensitive subject for a lot of people and I do not wish to drag this thread through a potential racial discussion.

Oh, now you are complaining that someone tries to provoke you when you are the one who made a lame attempt to stereotype. On the one hand, you are saying you don't want something happen. But on the other hand, you have done exactly what is needed to make it happen. I just find this very funny.

Maybe it's time for you to start thinking how this 'potential' racial discussion has started and who has played a major role in it.

    Umm how about this guy?

Until he quoted me and mentioned this totally OT, I did not mention anything about Chinese. I intended to move on and avoid the subject, but for some reason you keep sticking to it. Please keep OT instead of continuing your pointless accusation.

It's doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell the guy was just talking about the financial impact of the sheer population size. But you are the one who took it to the next level and made a lame attempt to stereotype them being biased.

If you keep trying to spin it, you are the one who is dragging this on.

I actually added you to my ignore list so I can't see what your type, though it is most likely you continuing to hang around with the pathetic rhetoric. Obviously I didn't want to delve deeper into it which is why I kept it as vague as possible. Learn to give things a rest and move on mmmkay?

Yes, you did say you didn't want to delve deeper into it. My problem with you is that you are the one who started all these in the first place but then you tried to act like you have nothing to do with it. I know you didn't like it when I called you a chicken. But I honestly believe that's a fitting name for you based on your behavior in this thread. By the way, I agree claiming to put someone on your ignore list is a convenient excuse to exit when you are at your wit end to further spin what you have said.

I guess there is alot of car washing going on in detroit, chicago, and dallas.Detroit has been ravaged by the recession and have been terrible the last 2 yrs,yet the hae no elsie and generate more money than the rockets with yao. This is my frustration with the contigent that believes elsie means money. I can agree elsie opens doors for les other business dealings which have 0 impact on the rockets. Winning, luxury boxes, local tv and radio,parking/concession are the reason owner make money. Anything outside 75miles radius goes into the globla pot and shared between all the teams. We've been down this road before,so go check the other threads concerning this so i dont derail the thread.

Back to topic, maybe morey thinks yao plays in limited minutes and basically sets the market for his services. I dont mind that, but the tricky part is this, if yao plays 25 mins and avg 12ppg 7 rebs, what is his price tag? Do you bank on him playing 32 minutes and getting 19ppg 9 rebs or do you think his following year production will be 15ppg and 9 rebs? If thats the case, what is that price tag?

Of course we've been down this road before, but Lee, and some of you fellow Yao haters never get it.
Each team has an owner for a reason, make no mistake, they all millionnaires. They are in this business not just because they love basketball, but they see profit in doing this. You think Mark Cuban would spend that much money on Dallas if hes not getting cashback from wall street?

If there's a player that brings you extra investment chances in the biggest market on earth, gets his teammates extra endorsement deals, brings a hugenormous amount of fans from his home country to watch the Rockets and NBA even when hes on the bench--- and you are saying its r****ded to sign him? Morey would come over and slap you in the face.

Ive said this in another thread, it is almost impossible to calculate how much Yao has impacted the game and the business, and no, its not all about winning, what do you think les was doing for the past few years? Les DOES NOT want to pay luxury tax, the year morey came in he said hes got all the resources, last year morey said exactly the same as this year, Mr.Alexander has given me all the resources.

    Just no luxury tax please.

This is the root of all evil.If he doesnt have the mindset of do whatever it takes to win, no one could change anything.

Oh sorry, almost forgot to answer your questions.
A 3 year extension with team option no more than 40million is more than fair for Yao given his injury history.

I dont really care about his production, hes not gonna be the franchise player we used to know, if we end up getting cb4 or any big time free agent yao's not even gonna be the best player on the team, as long as he remains healthy for the playoffs.
