It was part of my weekly ritual to catch every new episode of Simpsons for most of my life. But around 2005 I finally killed that ritual because the episodes just weren't funny anymore.

I've seen a few of the newest ones and they are actually decent, problem is I can't get myself back into the ritual of watching them like I did when I was younger.

South Park has finally done that to me too. Until 3 seasons ago I had seen every episode new on Wednesday for as long as I can remember.. Now I just don't care. But I still do catch them all on demand, something I don't do for the Simpsons.

I guess you're too busy watching Carrie Underwood Christmas specials and Miley Cyrus music videos to care about quality television.....

Why would someone come into a thread titled "Simpsons" just to say that you don't watch it? And who asked you about Lost, BB, SOA, LOTR (A movie thrown in for good measure?), or GoT? Did you think the thread was created so that we could all find out how much you don't like The Simps...

You know what, I apoloize to you what. It's Monday... it's been a sh** day. One of those days that makes you wonder why people do that sh** they do... I withdraw my previous remarks.

Of course you don't care what I think of your post, nor should you.

Same here except I stopped watching about a year earlier.

It's really weird to think that when it first debuted I was closest in age to Maggie and now I'm closest in age to Homer!

Remarkable run for an animated show. Season 13 on right now as we speak and I'm going to say it, The Simpsons will go down as the greatest tv show of all time.

Watching this week has really reminded me how truly great the show was. I, like some of you, lost touch around 2005 or so. I'm actually looking forward to seeing those episodes now.

I've watched them all as they've aired over the years. The last few years have been up and down but still decent, not a bad feat considering how long the show's been on. It's actually been on an upswing as of late.

It's crazy how any age can enjoy it. 28, 11, and 5. We are all laughing.

It must be very easy on the Voice Actors. . . .
I mean Hank Azaria been on there the whole run
and still has time for a bunch of other shows

I don't think he could have done that with a live action show

I still enjoy the simpsons every now and then, but not nearly as dedicated as when i was younger.

the start of the episodes are too long for my liking, i enjoyed it more when it was much shorter and straight forward.
