big time - i watched him from when he first came on, but the last year or so he has gotten leno-bad. fitting, as he is taking over the tonite show when jay retires. i thought the episode of 24 was the best one this season. its still a great show and im not complaining, but its not like it used to be. id say seasons 2 and 3 were great, but 4 - 7 or 8 is when it was at its peak. some of the episodes now are far below par, but ill still loyally watch them all. really, nobody should complain after what that show has given us for almost 20 years. im 32 - its been with me most of my life now. and lots of you 20 somethings probably dont even remember a time when there was no simpsons. it really will be a sad day when the show finally ends. and i agree w/ the other poster who said the show was brought down in part by all the guests. who hasnt been on the show at this point?
The 24 parody was excellent- best episode of the season! Episodes like this is exactly why I still watch and love the Simpsons. Every new ep might not be a classic, but it is still capable of pulling off gems. The Simpsons movie comes out July 27th, and it will be a classic- can't wait!
was just watching these on the DVR... thought I'd fix em for ya I still dvr each and every Simpsons that airs, regardless of "popular opinion"...I still enjoy them, even the newer ones. another couple of gems from FG Brian: (to young Lois) Can I Wham my Oingo Boigo into your Velvet Underground? Death: (to Molly Ringwald) Good to meet you Molly, I'll be back later for your career. also liked the Jetsons bit and the Caddyshack nod. and to end the Ep with Roger(from AD) walking in ( Who ate all the pecan sandies?) made me LOL. I havent made it thru the second half of the Simpsons ep, but so far its pretty funny imo.
