    You're a rook for a reason

If Rockets win tomorrow (which will happen), Rockets make the playoffs irrespective of what the j*zz do.

    We control our destiny

We would be 8th seed because of holding the tie-breaker vs Utah.

We're going to make the playoffs and that is a terrible, terrible thing. That pick was our one hope of dumping Brewer. Now, we have the privilege of being c*** slapped by the Warriors and then keeping Brewer for 2 more years.

But really, could this dumpster fire of a season end any other way? Everything has gone as bad as it possibly could have, so I suppose this is the appropriate ending.

no, it could get even worse. if dwight suffers injury during that series he could be forced to opt-in on his player option.......yikes

I was just about to bring up the Warriors defeating that 67 win Mavs team back in 07, until I went back and looked at that Warriors team for comparison. The Warriors team had SEVEN players averaging double digit PPG during the season and FIVE players average at least 15 PPG during the series against the Mavs. The Warriors were 42-40 for the season BUT they finished on a 16-5 run.

Yeah, James may be able to go all Baron Davis on the Warriors and supposedly those two are close and supposedly James see's Baron as a mentor. But outside of the 1st vs 8th seed angle, I just don't see any favorable parallels. However, come Game 1... I def will be in foolish fan mode.

Love the playoff experience we're getting and the fact we're getting to enjoy our team making the playoffs. Rah!

The only way this could get better is if Klay Thompson gets a papercut, they hold both him and Curry out, and they still beat us by 10 in Game 3.

    This team disgusts me.

Has anyone made a thread on the infighting that the Rockets have done through the first two games? They're never on the same page. They've had all year to get on the same defensive page and it just hasn't happened. It really hurts my soul to be rooting for a team that is so collectively stupid on defense. Lord give me patience.
