Smart move by Simmons to turn the expiration of his suspension into an event. In the end, the suspension was a huge net positive for Bill. He basically just got three weeks off to golf and hang out at the beach, he ends up drumming up more excitement for his and Jalen's NBA preview, and with his suspension, he probably won back a few fans that had given up on him because they felt he had becoming too much of a corporate shill. I don't see a real downside.

Thanks for jinxing Julius Randle, Bill! (Or maybe Julius did it to himself, with the bad karma incurred from faking an injury pre-draft to induce his fall to the Lakers...)
I think more suspension might be coming for Bill Simmons. But if so, it would have to be for both him and Mike Golic, right? Golic DID take his interview out of context. There seems to be a lot of hate between former-jock guys at ESPN such as Mike Golic and internet-based/fan-centric Bill Simmons. This confrontation between these two is just the tip of iceberg.
Mike Go license and little Mike are mouthpieces for the NFL, too long part of the establishment. You go Bill Simmons, don't let the two idiots bully you.
