It isn't like we are voting for anyone of these guys to be a saint so screw their personal lives and morals.

    Uh...

I think that's why in the original post, the sentiment was that he WOULD NOT pass on that money - therefore the whole postulation with the TMax trade....

Yep, I'm with you as I am sure quite a others feel the same way. Keep in mind though, winning just about cures everything.

If Kobe cant win 1-2 final MVPs, he is no where near all team top 20. If lakers fail again this season, I think kobe will consider move.

i hate kobe, but i ain't stupid. if there was any chance of him coming to houston i would take it, he's just too good to pass on, but the chances are so slim i wouldn't even consider it, kobe, battier, artest, yao, brooks...nice starting line up i should say, or perhaps battier/artest off the bench with a better pf like scola in the starting line up, it be the same thing we thought we had with tmac this year, the matchup possibilities were endless, but when tmac went down we were left undersized and not armed efficiently to deal with the powerhouses of the west for a full series

even if we didnt get kobe, if tmac could pull off a miracle and play like he used to, will yourself to play like you "willed" yourself to win the game...

I know it's the offseason for us, but there's no chance in hell that this ever happens.

i dont think that would hurt him though, if he was traded here, he'd probably embrace it...if he goes ro a team with cap room they probably dont have any other pieces, if he's traded for a big name this new team probably won't have ALL the pieces...houston has it all, can afford to lose a big piece and still have it all

    NO thanks.

I would rather win with the right guys or not win at all.

Lol, funny how a couple of weeks ago after Game 7 I said that if Kobe didn't win it all, he could consider leaving and coming with a hungry team like Houston. People said non-sense, who's supid now lol

I love how people throw out "play for the MLE" like they would actually turn down the opportunity at an additional 17 to 18 mill to play somewhere. Just stupid, plain stupid.

While a guaranteed championship DOES sound nice, I'd have to say no on account of the dirty, cocky, rapist.

i bet if this summer Kobe did get traded here, some of the people who are saying now now would be declaring us NBa champs, c'mon now, it's Kobe, i dont care how much i hate his i wanna be MJ act, the guy can play better than most of the league......i'm sure ron turned a couple hundred Ron haters in Ron lovers...winning does that to you..

Kobe and a healthy McGrady go 82-0.

    Book it.

Yeah, just wait til the Rockets no longer have Yao, Tmac, Kobe, or any stars worth following. What a great GARM that would be, following the worst team in the league

The thought of Kobe only fans alongside Yao only fans made me throw up in my mouth a little.

First of all, Kobe IS NOT going to opt out b/c he still wants to prove that he can win in L.A. without shaq...Second, do you really think that he would be willing to take less money to play for the Rockets, and alongside Ron Ron?
