I know y’all see Brown balling against Milwaukee

can’t believe people view Simmons as a foundational piece u build around when he’s a 3rd option oversized PG that can’t shoot

Yes they will. There is no Eastern team that can beat Brooklyn without Harden,,,,you are going to need fire power to be Brooklyn

Brown is a legit 20 ppg scorer...Boston always had too many players that needed to eat so Brown didn’t always get many attempts

Brown is skilled and can hoop...I’d like to see him get his fta up to 6 a game

Simmons doesn’t even take jump shots...he’s been the exact same guy since his rookie year

Clutchfans loves 1 game sample sizes. Brown could have put up 60 tonight and it still a no doubter for Boston to trade him for Harden if the Rockets are interested.

Id love to agree with this, except for the fact that since his rookie season ( which was only 3 seasons ago ) he has become and all star, an all defensive player and all nba player.
Meanwhile, Brown has improved a lot, and he is a great wing defender on his own, and he can score some, but he is nowhere on the realm of being a scorer like Ingran, Tatum, Booker and guys like that. Simmons is not either of course, but he is elite at passing and at running the floor, with enough spacing he could be awesome.
Ill take him over Brown without any hesitation, and just for the record i really like Brown too, but he is just not good enough to be the center piece on a Harden trade.

Having a 3rd option isnt a bad thing if he can do lots of other things besides scoring. Guys like Draymond, Chris Bosh and Dennis Rodman were legit 3rd options because they can do other things besides scoring. It aint that hard to find scoring pgs almost every team has them from Trae Young, Irving, Murray, Van Fleet, Lowry etc. You can easily complement Simmons' game with shooters and scorers just like what the Bucks did with Giannis.

I do like Brown over Simmons but Simmons is also a good choice. Tbh Simmons might be the only choice since Boston might not want Harden after all the immature **** he has pulled. OTH Simmons is reportedly disgruntled with Sixers staff so maybe a talent exchange could happen.

I’d go MPJ over all of them.

I say get a deal done for Jaylen Brown as soon as possible. He's gonna have a career year; star in the making.

when Dwight is your post game shooting buddy.

lol so much to unpack here....
    - why is Dwight shooting 3s
    - why is Ben’s shot so ugly in year 3/4
    - why is Ben shooting threes and not mastering a mid range jumper closer to the rim
    - why do I feel like Simmons will end up a rocket and Morey will laugh his way to a playoff run with harden /embiid

Brown's value is going to climb as the second option in Boston while Kemba is sidelined. Frankly, I think he's a better scoring option than Kemba already and will likely remain the second option when Kemba returns.

Who has the greatest upside? Simmons? Brown, Herro?

That is who we should take.

Simmons has made a total of two 3pt shots over his 3 year career. Dwight shot 3/5 on 3s last year.

I’m not even confident these packages are on the table anymore.

upside for me if I was rockets GM:
    1. Jalen

    2. Simmons (even without a jumper he’s a big man that defends, finishes around rim, handles and passes the heck out of the ball - surround him with shooters)

    3. Herro (I only think he’s effective when paired with a number 1)
