You might be starting tonight haven? That is quick! Just to let you know, my minor leagues players look OK to me (Patterson is the only guy I am really hyped about) but I won't get a chance to sit down and evaluate them until tonight when I get home from work. Just wanted to let you know so that, in the unlikely event I find a guy missing, I have a chance to get him in.

Oh, and my 1908 and 2001 World Champion Cubs are going to beat your team of local boys assembled for the game. :)

    Haven,
I really want to have the current team. Maybe everyone could do their own research and see who they have or don't have and let you know. I mean it says I have John Jaha and he retired this season.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/teamtransactions?team=oak

That's the place I went to find out the results, everyone could look up their team and tell you what's up. Anyway if you don't feel like changing the rosters, then let me know.

I think it would be best to take our time and get the rosters set up the way they currently are so there won't be added confusion. Just my opinion though...

SamCassell: Yeah, I know I'm starting fast. But I have a long break this weekend due to the absence of my girlfriend. So I figured I'd get the ball rolling when I have the time to tinker with my setup, etc. Hope that I'm not rushing you too much :).

If you're not going to change the rosters, how am I supposed to get Jermaine Dye from the Royals when that team will probably be one of the last teams anyone would want?

Also is John Jaha going to play for a few more seasons despite just retiring?

I am missing 2B Brent Butler in AAA(he is actually in the bigs right now but was at AAA for this roster set)
    Info:
Brent Butler, who was hitting .335 at Class AAA Colorado Springs before being called up at the start of July, is now the Rockies regular second baseman.

    I have a couple a questions

#1-alright on the Jays roster it says Shannon Stewart is a Free Agent, does that mean i have to re-sign him right now or after the season

#2-it says Delgado has 1 yr left, so that means after this season he is a Free Agent? i dont no if Free Agency started or not so do i have to re-sign Stewart right now?

#3- do we have to tell you how much we will offer to our guys and then you make the offer?

    1. If it says free agent on your roster, then he's still on your team but will be a free agent after the season ends. You can resign him during the year. I'll probably do a round of same team free agent negotiating around the all-star break. I'd prefer to do most of it at once. We'll have one more round late in the season.

    2. mean's he's a free agent after this year.

    3. You need to tell me how much you want to offer him during a special session we'll have. If you want, you can give me a range... start with X dollars for X years... final offer for y dollars and Y years, etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you saying the same thing in both of those statements?

Doesn't "1 year" mean that he's a free agent after next year?

it says Shannon Stewart is a FREE AGENT and it says Carlos Delgado ahs 1 Year Left

and i just wanted to know if they are both Free Agents after this season since we are starting the season then doing free agency
i wasn't clear if i have to re=sign him now, or if after the season

Yeah, the answers mean the same thing. I was just answering his questions, in turn, and they had the same answer ;). Sorry if I sounded redundant.

Do you have a lineup ready?

Oooh... i see. Umm, if he's not listed as a free agent next year, then he has another year left on his contract, k :).

PRM: Well, maybe you'll have the opportunity to make different exciting trades! Or maybe you can just trade with the computer?

Do you want me to release John Jaha? If you want me to, I will.

    Lineups for next session(s)

    Seattle Mariners:

I want the same lineups as posted before. For some reason against LHP's it was using a different lineup. (it had Widger starting ahead of Wilson, Javier ahead of Ichiro, and Sprague at 3b instead of McLemore)

    Seattle Mariners:

    Lineup vs RHP/LHP
    1. Ichiro Suzuki LF
    2. Mark McLemore 3B
    3. Bret Boone 2B
    4. Jay Buhner RF
    5. John Olerud 1B
    6. Mike Cameron CF
    7. Carlos Guillen SS
    8. Dan Wilson C

    Lineup vs RHP/LHP w/DH
    1. Ichiro Suzuki LF
    2. Mark McLemore 3B
    3. John Olerud 1B
    4. Edgar Martinez DH
    5. Bret Boone 2B
    6. Jay Buhner RF
    7. Mike Cameron CF
    8. Carlos Guillen SS
    9. Dan Wilson C
