The only silver lining at this point is the franchise is still in Houston.

Maybe hold him a little longer and create a bidding war amongst the contenders that could use him..

Eh tbh when Gasol signed with Lakers and they traded for Scrhudder the window was closed. Massive silver lining that we dont need to go all in on a futile chase for a ring that we know wont happen.

I think Rox are gonna surprise everyone this season I bet theres gonna be a lot of Rodion Kurucs only fans on the board after this season is done. Dude can ball.

No silver lining just tin foil.

I even lost the, “who will get traded first,” debate? DeShaun or Harden

Silver lining is I no longer have to support a team owned by brokeman fertitta. Houston does not have a basketball team as far as im concerned

I think we'll see a team that will play hard and play with a chip on their shoulder. Most likely will miss the playoffs but hopefully will be fun to watch

Agree. He’s about our last chip other than Wood. Not sure Gordon has value

I mean whatever. We were going to suck post-Harden era any ways.

The only good thing about sucking is you can just enjoy the NBA as it is. You don't have to root against the Blazers to drop that game and you don't GAF about some random game against the Bulls that you have to win because Dallas just lost and you need to gain a game on them...

Just enjoy the league until your team is relevant again and if not then hey, you have a lot of free time. Texans have done a great job of freeing up my Sundays.

    At least there's the Astros.

I don’t have to read about JH’s personal life and how that may or may not affect his play / drive

I don’t have to read debates on JH’s weight

I don’t care if it’s a travel on his step back

We are turning the page and have optimism for the future

Houston Rockets fan in good times and in not so good times

    Why need silver linings?
I am very satisfied with the deal as is.
I have got over the loss of Harden since the start of the training camp when he acted like a b1tch.
All this time just waited for the trade to be completed and guess what? It was a great trade.

What 2026? We will be getting lottery picks in 2 years from now. And we will also use the pick swaps.

Even before this trade I had zero confidence in BKN working out for long if not for not even this year.

If you can get Simmons or CJ and put good pieces around them, you could've stayed relevant. Hoping to hit in the draft 5 years from now and then develop the guy only to watch him force his way to another team to win a title is not the way to go.

Those lottery picks are ass. And I doubt we will be better than BKN for those swaps to matter.

Well i guess we'll find out.
