Did he happen to also look at how often he’s tried staggering them? You can’t blame analytics for someone misunderstanding them
lol he should definitely stay away from analytics...he first needs to be able to grasp basic basketball and even basic lifes concepts before straying into such a complex and intricate web where you need all the dedication to detail, the subtlety and rigor of scientific thinking...... can we blame the devil for peoples following him? ok its not a perfect metaphor but theres a lot truth to it... i appreciate analytics and its a wonderful tool and entertainment, but to this day i never met a bb fan that didnt delude himself with it ie thinking its telling him something thats actually not the case... eventho they will often acknowledge it and preface the analysis with their words of caution , this may not mean much but...or its a small sample size but... and they still allow themselves to be influenced by it and are in fact not aware enough of the misleading nature of analytics and of their inability to grasp reality using it..... The examples ai cited are just the top of the iceberg, but the main thing to understand imho is the analytics is not something that is above the eye test...what do i mean? theres always a commentary, an interpretation attached to the numbers just like with the eye test...... numbers never really tell anything....numbers dont speak, they have no mouth or voice... in all cases theres always a man and the eye test and hes telling us, or hes telling himself a story (the eye test) that he only thinks the numbers are telling....even the most cautious fell in its traps to the point i think it does more harm then good even to the experts and = highly inteligent bb fans, let alone to average fans... @Ankara1923 @LeDakota @aaquaa @DreamShook @PeterKingX @AroundTheWorld @J.R. @tinman @harold bingo @ExTxGS @conquistador#11 @CHAMPBOY @mirdirir @Joe Rocket @WestendMassive @Salvy @clutchdabear @berkowsk @j@amc @Killatron 2000 @Dovahkiin @ExTxGS @cmoak1982 @bmelo
