Howard would be happy with the PG dumping the ball to him in the post.

Harden is simply this team's PG, but we do need another competent ball handlers who can create.

I'm not sure how you quantify how good a passer he is on the move, but I have noticed that the ball not being on target. I think Harden can certainly be better passer as I view him at his best being a 20pt and 10 assist guy. His bread and butter is PNR which was why I understood the MDA potential coaching idea.

This 100%. To add, the PG and big combo is still key. The big simply has changed from a traditional big to a versatile big (Green, Durant, LBJ/Love, and Valanciunas respectively).

his offense will be morey's offense.

borrego's offense will be morey's offense.

MDA's offense will be morey's offense with smaller bigs.

our offense is moreyball no matter who the coach is. that's not so bad. its a top 10 offense with a healthy james harden. the difference will be which coach is the best in: (1) defensive X's & O's (2) getting james to commit to defense, become a leader, generally mature (3) game preparation, management, and adjustments (4) player development

Nobody know what a Silas offense or defense looks like unless we're talking about his dad. That doesn't bother or scare me because he's an unknown just as Pop, Kerr, phil, Rudy T, and all the other 1st time successful coaches were.

Silas was not immediately dismissed when his father was. He and the rest of the staff was permitted to interview with incoming coach Mike Dunlap. I think Silas was the only assistant coach retained. When Clifford was brought in the following year (due to bad exit interviews with the team regarding Dunlap), he brought in an assembled staff, with Ewing in the lead assistant spot. He subsequently interviewed Silas and brought him on as well. So it likely says more how apparently useful Silas is, rather than he was overlooked for Ewing. Ewing was essentially with Clifford's start first.
