I dont know when you logged on, Os. But I feel like we were on Sengun/Bruno for 35 minutes

but yeah, everyone is worried the org is trash if they keep on leaning into KPJ as the PG.

Silas is dringend everything to unsettle Alpi. This guy was the Player of the month November and that is the reason why Silas cant deleete him from the starting five.
But with his Substitions he Show us what he is trying.Bruno made against the Sund a good game thats not the Problem but a 20 years old Player need the Backup of his Coach. If Alpi do 1 or 2 mistakes he is out and if JG or KPJ do 10 mistakes in one game thats no reason to cut his Playing time. Thats sad!

Silas is an embarrassment to the organization. On top of everything else, spreading the rumor that Alpi doesn't work hard is ridiculous.

still haven't seen any evidence of "Alpi doesn't work hard" being spread as a rumor. if you've got a source or discussion you can point me to, I'd like to see it

It's a rumor that "comes out of the organization".

A very trustworthy source mentioned it during us jointly watching the Nuggets/Pelicans game.

To be clear, it wasn't explicitly stated that Silas himself was the source of the statement. It was mentioned that someone in the organization sees that as a reason for Alpi not getting the minutes.

Something is wrong - there's no way Alp shouldn't be more involved in the offense.

    Agreed.
    It’s called coaching.

No way in hell I believe that he doesn’t work hard. Doesn’t look like it’s in his DNA to not work hard.

Nobody hustles more than Tari and Alpi (and Garuba) during the games. Makes it hard to believe that he wouldn't work hard. And for someone in the organization putting that rumor out there is also wrong.

I don't know anyone saying he doesn't work hard - that's new to me.

But I do know that he's a gifted offensive player. At first it was his passing but now his scoring is looking great too. Get him the ball more.

That's interesting, it would explain a lot if this is actually how the org views him. Who is the trustworthy source?

So, about the fouling thing...yes, he fouls quite a bit...but he also draws a ton of fouls...more than he commits.

This. It seems like "the organization" has all the local journalists in their pocket.

I have been a Rockets fan for 27 years now.

And I have never been more sure about anything than Sengun being a unique, once in a generation talent the Rockets must not let go to waste.

I love Green's potential as a scorer, love Jabari's 3 & D potential, love KMJ's hops, very much love Tari's hustle...but Sengun could become as good or better than Jokic. He can be the hub that makes everyone else better.

It's not just the eye test. The traditional stats, the PER stats, the VORP stats all show it already, even though the coach has been trying to keep him down. And that doesn't even take into account his unbelievable passing, which apparently the coach has been discouraging.

If not for a coach in Silas who systematically tries to undermine him, his impact (and stats) would already be much greater, and he would be on the same trajectory as Jokic in his second year.

A coach who prioritizes a fringe NBA player like Bruno as a "lob threat" over Sengun to accommodate a flawed player like KPJ has lost all credibility.

Yeah this keeps being brought up, about how Silas says Sengun doesn't work hard. Where is this coming from?
