A lot of people forget our coach and FO are rookies too. So Jalen Green, Sengun and Jabari are allowed to learn on thr job but their coach can't? I dont even know why people are upset, the right play is to tank and thars what we did under Silas so far. He did the best thing for the Rockets otherwise Green and Jabari wouldnt be on the team right now.

Our players also developed, you can see massive improvement from Tate, KPJ, Green and KJ Martin since they first got here so again what's the matter? Makes zero sense to me to hate on Silas he is the best coach for our young team right now, someone who makes them see the Rox as a family rather than a soulles corporation.

Last time I saw him that emotional was when they forced him to work with Horny and Diop.

Who the F cares about ROy thats just a meaningless individual award. Last thing I want is another stat whoring, award driven personality like when Harden would ward of Cp3 cuz he wanted to put up scoring and assist nos to bolster his MVP.

Actions speak louder than words we got Jalen Green and Jabari Smith over Chris Dourte and Christian Braun. You angry at Green getting denied ROY but if it were up to you we wouldnt even have the rookie to begin with SMH.

I'll get emotional too for Silas when he's no longer the coach.

Steve has cried more in the last 3 years than all 29 other team’s coaches combined.

Wow didn't expect this reaction. I liked this moment. I think KPJ has come a long way.

Nobody is saying he is CoY. But its great to have a coach who cares about his players. Y'all make me laugh yiu want a coach who couldnt care less? I dont get posters like you who take something thats objectively good and make it out to be a bad thing.

"HA HA! The coach cares about his players!"

Very nice moment, it’s clear Coach has assumed a father figure role for KPJ. Here’s wishing them both success this year! :)

So you're basically saying Chuck Daly (e.g.) didn't care about his players because he didn't burst into tears when asked about them.
Sure, tears are the sign of caring in professional sports circles.

I wish somebody had given Silas a shake, shouting "he's not dead man (slap!) he's here!"

Thanks for the positive posts and good to see people accepting a man showing tears. Those who think it’s cool to say ignorant things or act like internet thugs, oozing toxic masculinity and regurgitating Oakley type garbage, I just have one thing to say to: go watch Ted Lasso!
