Silas also held a press conference where he apologized to all the vaginas in the world for comparing them to Boozer.
I couldn't have been the only one who immediately thought "Curb Your Enthusiasm" when I read the headline...
Boozer probably deserves it. Odd thing is, two past girl friends of mine drop CU Next Tuesday every once a while to startle me
I've never liked Paul Silas. The guy is overrated as a coach and has a huge ego for someone who has never done anything.
thats weak on Silas' part. totally classless from your head coach. way to set an example for young players...
Kinda like three's company...Cool...I always liked Janet vs. Crissy... Anyway, I haven't met a lady yet that likes or prefers any derogatory term relating to that female region...But its my understanding the "C" word is the worst...
On the one hand....I think this is really awesome....the level of anger towards Boozer makes sense and I like that Paul Silas of all people is going with the C-Bomb. On the other hand, this is beyond the pale for a coach to use this kind of language even for the jerkiest of jerks. Can you imagine Bob Knight saying that sort of thing...oh, wait...bad example
"Cavaliers general manager Jim Paxson said he spoke with Silas about the comment"...: "You called him WHAT?" "A C U Next Tuesday." "THANK you! That's what I'm saying!" "I greatly regret that I am going to get fined for it, though..." "I'll split this one with you, Paul..." Paxson's apology seems like a bit of a formality, like, "hey, regardless of how much of a C U Next Tuesday this guy is, we know that his mother may be listening to us talk, so our goal is to protect her from that knowledge about her child... we're real sorry, Carlos's mom..." "that your son is such a C U Next Tuesday that he made us say it out loud..." maybe, maybe no...
Well, next time, let the reporter ask Boozer what he thinks of Silas, I am pretty sure Silas has his dirty laundry. That would be fun to hear.
