I think the bigger concern is another big getting hurt. We need to bring in a big now so he can learn the system just in case someone does get hurt.

One more big wouldnt hurt... we have our PG's set, our Sg's set, our SF's set, our PF's set...

We have mutombo for center... and who knows how long his body will hold up. Regardless, signing one more big man for emergency cases wouldnt hurt, especially when we have the option of leaving green on the inactive list

I'm not saying I'm the smartest person or know everything, but has anyone ever considered foul trouble? I mean does Morey think that two rookies will be able to stay out of foul trouble in the playoff when the games slow down? Yao couldn't even stay out of foul trouble in the playoffs.

I just think its a flawed logic for the rox to not have another 7 fter on this roster. Since the rox have bobby jackson, they might as well have brooks on the inactive list. The sorry ass grizzlies got to the hoop like they were giving away free slurpees yet they can say they don't need anyone. When deke goes out, why would any team shoot a jumper when there is no one to contest a shot?

If we gotta cut someone hell no. We got enough for a veteran to stay under cap space. Barry would have been perfect. We don't need a 7 footer. Dallas has a hole in the middle cause Dirk plays like a shooting guard. Dampier sucks so he doesnt count.

My feelings exactly, we need to make sure we got a body back there for foul trouble. And like some other Clutchfans mentioned, we will need to make sure that we make an attempt to injury-proof ourselves instead of relying on Chuck Hayes (which screwed our season early on both ends of the court)...

We have to be actively looking for a player...The Rockets have made every attempt over the last few seasons to patch up every position on the team from PG,SG,SF,PF, Head Coach, but have not netted NOTHING!!!

My fear, the near calls that happen in the playoffs will never go in the rookies favor...Turiaf,Amare,Duncan,Bynum will get the calls for those loose-ball fouls...We know how the playoffs work, so we need another bigman NOW...Somebody 6-10 to 7 foot will work. Convert on open dunks, rebound, change some shots, and run is all that is required.

I feel like Deke can give us enough minutes to give us the "big" presence so many people think we need. I think Landry's offense makes up for his lack of defense savvy so he can pick up a few more minutes. Chuck gives us a completely different look in that he doesn't block shots but most "big" players can't ever get to their favorite spots to post him anyway.

I like what we have. If someone gets injured then we can panic.
