Why is Sun Yue scoring the hottest chick of them all(over Yi Jianlian or Yao)?--he got a model. Shouldn't it be in correlation to talent.... It's like John Lucas getting a hotter girlfriend than Tmac...

They're going to make very tall children together.

In fact Yao Ming and Ye Li can have 2 babies according to Chinese law If both of couple are single child of their parents.

That's right. If they abide by the rule, they can have 2 children max. However, if Yao decides "screw it, I want to have more children", he can have more than 2. It's just civil violation and all he has to do is to pony up for a fine.

No, Yao and Ye should have one child, and they marry her/him off to the child of the tallest guy in the world (he's mongolian I think) then THAT baby will be the ultimate player-hugmongous, good basketball skills, great grandparents to learn from. And of course the Rockets sign him to a 30 year contract when he's still his nappies.

Well IMHO, that was not an issue at all.

Since Yao Ming will be playing most of the time in USA, and Ye Li will also be staying in USA, therefore as long as they want, they can have as many children as they wish......cos there is is no such 1 child policy in USA. :D

But one thing I'm not that sure. Knowing Yao Ming's loyalty to his country, the chances for him to be naturalized to become US citizen will be ZERO. But what about his off-springs? Will they be considered US citizen by birth or they are still Chinese??

Cos I don't want 20 some years from now, there are Yao Juniors playing for US national team. :p

Is there anyway the Rockets can get all draft rights to all future offsrpring of Yao? (just kidding) We need to keep the tradition of having great centers in Houston alive.

Is the 1 child policy still in effect? I thought that law was relaxed.... or even repealed.

The policy is still in effect. But there are exception and leeways like some posters mentioned above. Say if both of the parents are single child of their family, then they are allowed to have 2. If one of the parent is a minority (i.e. non Han) then also 2.

And as long as you can afford to pay the penalty/fine, you can have as many as you wish, but then the additional ones may not have the proper Hu Ji (i.e. the residency) and the free education etc that he/she is supposed to entitle to if he/she is the lone child.
