I've read somewhere that the 'law of nature' dictates that tall parents must not always have taller children. Otherwise, by this day and age, we would people 10 to 20 feet tall. By all measurements, 7 foot is still very tall at this time and very unusual. Short parents in fact have tall children and tall parents have short children to satisfy the law of nature.
