Man, Yao looks like he's lost a lot of muscle or weight or both, it's gonna be a LONG time until he gets back to in-game shape...doesn't bode well for the rest of our season :(

Yah, well, the most important thing is having him and T-Mac healthy and ready for next season, this season was just obviously not going to go our way, and it has been evident from pre-season.

GOOD news and BAD news !!!

The good news is Yao Ming passed his medical. :D

The bad news is for precaution reasons, he might after all miss his chance for matching up against Shaquille O'Neal on January 29. :(

Feburary 1 still remains to be his target date of return.

am i the only one who thinks yao looks pretty much exactly the same from before he got hurt? i think some of y'all should call up some rookie pictures to see what thin yao looks like.

maybe he lost a few lbs but i would bet he lost little to no muscle while he was out and if he did he could put it right back in no time. his stamina on the other hand could take awhile.

Yao still haven't learnt when to use his elbow...

I say just give the dude a double roundhouse in Chuck Norris style, once for the rude manner and once for the lack of respect. :D

A closer look at Yao Ming's new shoes.

It is not as complicated as we think. Just a piece of leather pad upfront to protect the toes.

I don't know how much protection that thing can give to Yao's toe. The guy has to wrestle with 300 lbs guys under the basket nightly.

Well whatever that is (I sincerely doubt that it's just leather), Yao says that it's very protective.

Looks like Yao playing tomorrow is kind of up in the air.
