I always thought the movie was overrated. However, I LOVED the music. DUN dun dun DUN dun dun DUN dun DUN dun DUN dun dun... I hope he doesn't insert his horrible music into it.
Yeah it didn't show me anything that would make me think it's going to be any better than the original and it from rob zombie, love the guys music, but his movies are terrible!

Don't ask any questions, but I'm about halfway through watching this movie. I said don't ask. The rest of you can watch it when it comes out in theatres this week. Anyway...it's pretty damn creepy. It's based on the original, but it goes back to show a lot more about Michael's childhood and why he's so f'd up. A lot of the same scary soundtrack is used in this movie as well. About halfway through I'd give this a thumbs up. I'm curious as to what people who haven't seen the original will think of it. Don't ask.
The screenings in NY and CA received it with rave reviews last month so I'm expecting it to be the best since I and II. Akkad's son gave Zombie full authority to do what he wanted with it, Zombie went for the backstory. It's 'inspired' from the original so it's not a remake.. I'm a Michael Myers fan so I hope this does well.
Judging from what I've seen already, the first half is original. The 2nd half is starting to follow very closely to the original.
100 corpses and devils reject i heard were pretty good. They didnt do well at the box office but that doesnt mean they were bad movies. I've never seen them but have heard good things from those who have. halloween begins is a good destcription. SUre they dont make original movies anymore but at least it wont be a straight laced "remake".
House of 1000 Corpses is horrible, whatever you heard was BS. It sucked so bad that I actually walked out of the theater about halfway through. I didn't even bother with Devils Rejects.
i saw it posted, but im waiting to see it in the theatre. halloween is my favorite horror movie franchise and im looking forward to this. the previews look pretty good and make it look like they focus more on michaels childhood and when he is locked up.
I just finished it. Zombie did the original justice and improved on it by going in-depth with his childhood.
I'll wait until the movie actually comes out before I post that spoiler. I will say Michael is big and bad ass. I think he would kick Jason's ass for sure.
