Sigh.. Fort Bend ISD (Clements) teacher in trouble possibly..

He is one of the best chemistry teachers in the state. He has won awards at state level, helped obtain scholarships for students, taught students well enough where practically all students got 4 or 5 on their APs and is a good human being despite his hobbies or sexual orientation. I am going to wait to see what turns up during the investigation to make my judgment, but I don't think there is anyway he gets a fair deal from FBISD. I am still finding it hard to believe that he would be doing anything sexually explicit on video.

 

I saw it on the local news website this morning. This is really sad if he is as good as some of you say he is (at teaching, not wrestling).

If, or when, he gets fired.. couldn't he just go to another school? In another district or city or state? Maybe even a private school, which I heard you could get paid more.

I think it is perfectly reasonable for any school or school district to expect their teachers to not be heavily involved in p*rnography. If this is true, it's not an isolated instance or a youthful indiscretion.

Personally, I don't care how good of a teacher anyone is, if they are involved with p*rnography enough to participate in 40+ sexually explicit videos, I would not want them as a teacher.

Seriously, I'm pretty sure that if it turns out to be him, he would be fired whether he taught in Tom Delay's district or Shelia Jackson Lee's district.

That being said, all they have to go on is that an anonymous person (probably a kid who failed his class) says the guy happens to look like a guy in a gay p*rn video. He totally denies it was him.

I'm going to wait and see. Something doesn't seem right about this...

 

I suspect most companies would fire an employee on the spot if they were proven to be actively involved in the pronography trade....

Yeah, it would be too disruptive if a person is working during the day and a pornstar at night and everyone knew it. Especially in this situation with students. The teacher pisses off a student, you can imagine what kind of response that teacher would get. I don't think it has anything to do with straight or gay, it has to do with disruption.

Clements is a dump anyway. The new administration blows and the new principal is a spawn of Hitler.

It's weird because although I never had him, I heard great things about him. If I remember correctly, he's from Iowa. The only reason people had respect for the science department was because of him and I guess that's gone now.
