Not sure I follow your logic. If the wealthy are unaffected. And I assume those with employer sponsored plans are realtively unchanged. Then do you somehow object that the poor get coverage? That they haven't 'earned' it? Again....you don't have to go to a 'only government' system. There are those that have both private and public. You, yourself suggested a sliding scale clinic or some such thing. That people who need medical attention should be given that attention instead of being judged. Doesn't seem too socialist to me? Do you think access to medical care would somehow be a disincentive for people to work hard?
If y'all think the donkey is bigtexx posting under a new nick, I'd have to disagree. They're posting styles are completely different. texx was the master of making definitive, but completely r****ded statements. Donkeymagic is by far the most passive-agressive, wishy washy poster I've ever seen. He's always posting equivocal statements, and then backing off or pleading ignorance, when he's called on them.
Back to the OP. I have watched both BfC and F 9/11 and thought they were amusing. I don;t really have any knowledge on Iraq and 9-11 but I do on gun control and I have to say that film was pure crap (well crap in the sense of info, like i said it was kinda funny since he is in comedy). If MM has shown anything its that no one really cares what he has to say anymore. He probably hurt John K. more than help him.
They sure seem to have a LOT of the same posting style to me. I think bigtexxx got tired of his persona and created Donkey Punch to be able to post more along the lines of the way he really thinks. He also knew that Bush and the war were nosediving really fast and he couldn't be "right" any longer without looking as stupid as T_J and basso. Better to bail when he still had the chance and start over.
thanks. i take pride in my ability, and right, to think of all sides and being able to admit that i may be wrong. I make up for the more arrogant and definitive statements that people stand by to the end and dont even bother to give any other ideas a fair chance.
No they just give him Academy Awards. And make his films the most money making documentaries in history.
sorry bro. im not big texx. but thanks for respecting me...masterahole. see i can make fun of names too so i must also be cool
i guess i should just stick to my guns no matter what then. after all, thats what debates are for..right?
First off...thanks for a real reply. By rich I mean RICH. Not a family with a combined 80K income who worked their but off to make that happen. If a NHS type system comes it will come at a cost. We will have another SSS type deduction on our checks. It will be much less than say a employer sponsored system, but if you dislike this system you may have no choice. You pay for it no matter what. So if you want your old health plan it will cost alot more because 1. There will be less people enrolled totally raising the cost 2. Your employer will no longer be made to pay 75% of the cost 3. You will be paying the NHS deductions in addition to your Health plan. This helps a lower income because they now pay a small deduction on their checks and have access to a health plan This hurts middle class because they now have a crappier system for not much less money.
yeah. i do. If you would like to know something i would gladly share...right now, i would like to stick to the subject of healthcare
