I figured I'd end up apologizing at the end of this thread, but didn't think it would be for this Pole - the BBS locks out those who haven't registered for the board, but if you really need people to see this today/tomorrow, email me .... I'll open the board up publically for people to read this thread and explanation of what happened. I would be proactive though and email those people immediately with the new address and an explanation (if you haven't already). I don't think it was specifically us/this thread that got the dude hacked off to the point where he decided to switch the file from the funny commercial to gay p*rn. I think this was being passed around all over. Like I said, I got it in a group email and I'm sure it wasn't the only one. From there I decided to post it here, but I should have put it on my servers then pasted the link. It's about 1 meg in size, so it may not be too much to send it attached via email (though I guess that depends on how many people you send it to). That's one sure way of knowing you're passing the right file.
I also thought it was hilarious, but I'm wondering what the marketing strategy is here. I guess making the car stick in the minds of the viewers?
Thanks Clutch.....hopefully the one guy I sent it to didn't forward it. He hasn't answered me.....probably making me sweat. And trust me.....I was VERY proactive.
That's so wrong, but so unexpected. Since I hate cats, I find it amusing, wouldn't wish that on a cat though.
whose site do you think the link came from? just kidding. alas, i haven't read this thread until just now so i missed out on the p*rn. hope you guys enjoyed it.
As of this morning, the original link is again showing the car commercial. As far as I can tell, no one here at work got a view of "the boys".
that's what the guy in the p*rn video said. My eyes! My eyes! that what the girls in most p*rn videos say. man, based on michecon posting right after me, i must've clicked on the link just in time to avoid the incident. also IM'd it to a friend who only saw the cat commercial. that would've been fun explaining.
are you absolutely sure that a commercial? looked pretty real when the cat slumped down the windshiield. my first thought was it was real and some sick guy just put up an ad at the end.
well it would take some seriously complicated camera tricks for that cat to just slump dead like that and all that for a joke
I'm sure Ford has spent more on car commercials before than what it took to swap a real cat for a fake one in a video where nothing else is moving...
Okay, reality check: without burning to seal the wound, there would have been blood everywhere. Enough said. It was done with some clever editing. (1) Live cat sticks head in sunroof and even gets stuck. (2) fake cat is slid from car, and dropping head is added digitally.
