I still think if the Bull's offered Deng or Hinrich for nothing in return, ie for a TE or to an under the cap team. Many teams would be lining up.

IMO they're in no rush to salary dump. They can wait and see what's available on draft night or free agency.

Rockets have the best leverage on TMac's contract before the trade dead line. If we wait until next summer, TMac can simply chose to sign with any team he wants.

Mcgrady possibly still can return to an allstar if not he expires, deng is overpaid, brad can shoot but has no D and we already have that in Anderson.

If a Gasol type deal doesn't present itself, I don't think it's worth taking back bad contracts, or other mediocre role players.

Neither Feigen nor JCF are going to spill any beans on trade rumors. JCF is a beat writer employed by the team, he would get in trouble if he leaked everything he heard. Remember the twitter chat on Draft Night. He hinted that trades were being made to get some picks but he wasn't going to provide specifics.

Feigen is more likely to do the same. Say things are going to happen but the first time he talks about the trade will be to announce it.

Clutch, Doc, and others on here are your best bet to hear rumors before they happen. Hello? Excuse me, I got to take this...

we don't need Deng. for thisyear if we remain in the top 8, we're going to need an agile center like Noah. good for long term plan as well. get it done Morey.

FACT: Feigen and Friedman are the most accurate of sources, and do not spread trashy rumours.

FACT: The national writers speculate endlessly and mindlessly, so what is the reason for reading their prints?

the only teams i see in the mcgrady's sweepstakes are knicks (for obvious reasons), bulls and heat (b/c they are underachieving and tmac can give them a band-aid for this year along with his expiring contract), and possibly some contenders like cavs/blazers (who need another playmaker to go over the top).

let's be realistic. tracy is NOT going to get us another all-star or high draft pick. and if we do trade him, we are going to get back at least ONE bad contract. that is if we do want to trade him. the best we can hope for is to get someone who can be a good contributor for us.

What's your point? The national guys also told us that Hakeem wanted to be traded. That Ariza was signing with us. That Yao wanted McGrady gone... Just saying

I wouldn't have any of those two.
I love Miller, but he's washed up.

And WHAT the *** are you guys talking about?! You are Rockets fans and you would suddenly trade Mcgrady for peanuts?! Most likely he will not return to the same form, but the guy is 1 of 10 top talents.
Lets be more confident in Morey!!!

The national writers also provided many rumours that were proven to be false, hence they looked like dickheads.

I'm all for Anthony Randolph, but I'm really not sure how McGrady would fit in to such a trade. Actually, I'd much rather have Randolph than Bosh to be honest. I feel that Bosh is pretty much overpaid and I'm happy with our power forwards. Randolph seems versatile and young enough to still contribute with the available minutes and to be a part of the very long-term future.

I would hope we get some draft picks along with deng + miller. a

I hope we shoot for the stars with the trade instead of just going horizontally. There's no way adding deng or hinrich/miller would make us title contenders.

Heck if Lakers could get Pau Gasol for their expiring pocket lint, I hope we can get someone close.
