For those asking about Chris Kaman, Houston & NO went back & forth quite a bit in recent days but talks backtracked as of yesterday.

well hornets are probably waiting to see if there are better offers, when push comes to shove and its the trade deadline..they will realize we might have the best offer !!

hopefully by then its not too late for us to make a pplayoff push

I doubt they will wait until the trade deadline... Kaman is already riding the bench.

that's true...but if holding out means they can get a better deal, who knows?

maybe they are sticking to their guns and making houston add some more pieces to the trade that houston does not want to.

This does make it sound we offered a lot for Kaman. Two lottery picks or maybe 3.

Even talking to New Orleans seems pretty much pointless. What a mess.

Hahaha. Wow. What a joke. My guess they were asking for future lottery picks for Kaman and of course nobody was willing to offer them.

Can you blame them? They're trying to get the best deal. Only a dumb GM would make a trade for the sake of making a trade. If they didn't find anything they liked, big deal, his contract expires anyway. No need to panic and force a trade.

I guess Stern is still fighting valiantly for defensive player of the year making block after block.
