ESPN ranks him at #10 all time, this is a lot closer to reality than SI at #16: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/page/nbarank10/all-nbarank-10
dream would be rated higher (along with dirk probably) in my opinion if they spoke better english or were simply american. imagine if chandler parsons had the same numbers over time as dirk. he would be rated higher im pretty sir.
that one still isn't high enough for dream. he was hof defense and offense, both ways, until his 34th bday, and who knows, he might actually have been 38 at the time with how young he is always looked. the nba experts don't appreciate how godly he was. no center should be able to do what hakeem did.
I go by my tie for the GOAT (Jordan = Kareem), Jordan would pick Dream as his all time center. Voting booth closed. So in my mind, yes I'm a homer, Dream is #3 on my list.
Sabonis was better than Jordan, yet he's not even on the list. No need to get mad about Dream, he made it. Just a one or two guy's opinion.
GOAT lists are always kinda dumb. I look skeptically on all those guys from the early days of the NBA when there was a lot more variance between good and bad NBA players. Special players from the '50s and '60s might still have been good today, but not quite so special.
