What are you talking about lack of offense? As our ONLY option he led us to 55 wins with HCA you ungrateful "So called" fan!

Yao makes a lot of money for a role player.

You amaze me everytime i read one of your posts, its just a complete spam of bullcrap.

Were you watching Lebron the same series i was?!??!?!

The man averaged 19 or 20 ppg on close to 25% shooting! He had 10 points in the 4th quarter of an elimination game to go along with his 45, yet so did T-MAC with 40 to go with 12 points in the 4th i believe.
    Lebron PPG: around 19
    TMAC PPG : 28

You know who has double standards? You do, and anyone reading your posts can verify to that.

You are defending the guy who was about to go down as the 4th worst shooter in playoff history and bashing the guy who pretty much by himself took us to 6 games. I don't know if we were watching the same game 6 but it did look like it was a one man team didn't it? Everyone else disappeared just like last year so why don't you bash them?

Let me guess, its because he makes 19 mil. a year now right? Because of his salary he can't be human.

    lol@you

Actually, Tmac average 27 ppg in the playoffs and Lebron average 28 ppg. Dont forget Tmac's pathetic 4th quarter performances in games 1 & 2.

And the entire 4th quarter in game 6 was pretty much garbage time. The key quarter that game was the third.

Awesome. I havent seen a "I know you are but what am I" defense since elementary school.

Accusations are empty unless you can logic supporting them. I proved your double standards by showing how you treat Tmac and Manu.

And if you read my posts, you'll see that I dont think highly of Lebron's ft% or his shooting ability. But he attacks the rim much better and far more frequently than Tmac. Thats why he's on another level.

How am I defending him? By saying he's better than Tmac? I'm not sure if that should be considered a defense, but its true. And Tmac took us to 6 games by himself? I think you're severely underestimating the importance of a guy named Carl Landry in game 3.

In the first half it did. The third quarter killed us. But he did play a great first half.

Actually, its b/c he runs the offense and makes the decisions. But yes, he does make 19 million. And I'd like to think that more is expected of a player who makes 19 million.

Wow. I didnt realize that Yao missed the entire season. But I guess he must have if Tmac led us to a 55 win season.

Wow, I know there are some TmaconlyFans here but I didn't there are that many.

In one single page we have one idiot who said Yao is a role player and then we have another one who said Yao is not an option in offense.

I love Tmac. But you fools are really too going too far sometimes.

I'm talking about with Yao out buddy...with Yao out i honestly didn't think that we would even make the playoffs in the competitive west.

So that does leave T-MAC as our only option does it not?

All i was talking about was how you guys have to come to expect so much from something so little, if you haven't in fact looked at our roster.

So give credit where credit is due, T-MAC was the leader of the Yao less team so it is inherent to give him most of the credit.

Desert_Rocket called me and said the same time too. Why you two always have identical opinions? Sometimes I really think you two are the same person...oh wait.

Steve has a Rolls Royce and Tmac has a Maybach

you think Yao has some high roller rides like that? i know he has that Beemer, but this is on a whole other level.

I remember back in the Charles Barkley drove in Ford F150 truck or something like that around town.

wekko, we all know tmac's deficiencies and you have stated those fairly well (stamina, shooting, esp. fts, and sometimes don't step up enough in the 4th--and you also said lebron is similar).

can you tell me SOME of his strengths? there must be some yet you never stated any.

you know back in the 90s,

no Rocket fans ever questioned Hakeem's abilities, only the abilities of the other players. Did Bull fans ever question Michael? Did the Celtics ever question Bird?
    Did Laker fan question Magic?

I like Tmac's Maybach. I don't question his taste in expensive cars.

I'd question Hakeem all the time actually

I'd sit there thinking asking him in my mind:

Dream, how many people are you going to make look foolish tonight? 3,4, or the entire opposition?

    Yoyo,
as a fellow longtime fan. its useless to debate on and on about what our current players can do unless they do it. We know we came close with Dream in 84, and we know that we were close against Seattle (damn refs screwing us for Home Court with that David Robinson tip in) (side note, the Summit home field advantage was real), in our hearts we know it was possible cause we've been there. I think the next season is the most critical season, not for Rick Adelman, but for Tmac and Yao.

That's completely untrue, in fact, the season the Rockets had to renew Olajuwon's contract (before the Championships) he sat out the pre season with an injury and there was plenty of talk that Hakeem was faking an injury to prolong negotiations. There was talk about running him out of town, that he was too selfish. I'm postitive if you ask fans from Boston or Chicago there was probably plenty of talk about those stars in the years they didn't win championships. I betcha right now on the Spurs forums they're talking about Manu and Duncan. Don't underestimate how dumb fans are.
