Yeah, pretty much what we all knew already. But we still gotta get past the Jazz, Mavs and Spurs which leads me to my next question.

    Who's better Yao or Duncan???

someone who's never won a playoff series or someone that's a 4-time world champion?

    Duncan.

Wow, the opposing scout really likes A. Brooks. But he is equal to JLIII, and he had one bad preseason game (shooting). It just does not compute. ;)

Horry is a 7 time world champion, so is he better than yao too? world championships arent individual accomplishments and yao has been in the league half as long as duncan so i wouldnt consider the "world championship" arguement a very good one.

Duncan was actually the leader of his team and won three Finals MVP awards. He also won one in his second season in the league, so it's not all about longevity. Yao will get there one day, but so far Duncan has had the better career.

True a "world championship" in a vacuum is not a good argument.
    However Tim Duncan is a:

    1) Former NBA Rookie of the Year (Horry is not close. Yao was runnerup).
    2) Two Time NBA MVP (Horry was never close. Yao's a contender).
    3) Three Time NBA Finals MVP (Horry was never close. Yao no appearance)

Horry is a 7.2 PPG career role player, (albeit a clutch player), that's been on a lot of great teams.

Comparing Horry to Duncan or Yao is ridiculous.

That's because the Jordan era just ended and Shaq and Kobe were still getting their act together. Right place right time for Duncan and his band of do-gooders.

What about the other three championships then? Duncan has had a great supporting cast but he was still the leader of the Spurs.

Hello everyone, how goes it? I looked for a forum for "introduction" but didn't find one, so here I am. I am excited to be here. I am a journalist and I cover the Milwaukee Bucks.

I heard you guys were talking about Yi Jianlian, but again, I can't find that thread. Do I sound lost to you? I hope I can add to your discussions as well as learn from you as well. Thanks for having me :)

Let's frame the question in a more meaningful way. How many teams do you think would rather have Yao as their starting center than Duncan as their starting center this season?

Based on the GM survey on NBA.com, it appears the answer is not many.
