Haven't seen this posted yet if so, lock it up. Maybe the team likes what it has seen of James White in limited practice time?

The Rockets signed G James White to a second 10-day contract even though he hasn't played. ''We've got to get to see him and see whether it's somebody we want to keep for the rest of the year,'' Adelman said. ...

He's probably doign decent in practice. Or being a decent 'dummy' for defense.

He's had limited practices, so they havent really had a chance to see him at his best. But I believe that if Von's stock raises too high during the summer, white will be signed automaticly. Just like them drafting Dorsey as "landry insurance". But I would love to see him get some playing time in a real game.

I never realized he could do so much. Why is he even in the D-League?

I just know him capable of flying from the free throw line to throw the ball down. What else?I didn't watch any game of his before.

Personally, I hope he turns out to be this summer's Kelenna Azubuike -- except that we keep him (assuming he is as capable as advertised).

kinda O/T but read this in the link posted.. hehe

    Artest talking about his block..

''I mean if they wanted to call a foul, they could have called a foul,'' Artest said. ''If it was Kobe (Bryant), maybe. But it was not a foul.''

Rafer and Hayes came from the D-League. Some players just need time to develop more skills. He was just a dunker, when he first joined the d-league.

i hope they are able to bring him in full time next year.

the guy has serious athleticism. decent jump shot (similar to lowry). and decent size and speed for defense (similar to wafer, +2" taller).

I wouldn't read too much into it. There is no down side to signing him to another 10 day, so why not? Not a lot of money, and if there isn't anyone else they want to look at then they might as well keep him.

How about we not waste the money, since we havent shown any interest in actually using him.

What was the point of having Wafer on squad this year? Or Landry last year?

I want in this order for the team:

    1) Rocket Championship(s)
    2) White defeats Lebron in the dunk contest wearing a Rockets jersey.
    3) Rockets begin celebrating annual KingCheetah day right after the all star break.

Next year? Landry and Brooks rode pine last year also. Look at how much playtime they get now. He's probably had 2 or 3 practices at the most.
