I think sixth is a little high. Frankly I have a lot more faith in Hollinger's power ranking than any of the others. It always seems to correctly reflect how well every team has been playing recently. Hollinger's has us at 10th (IIRC), and San Antonio right below at 11th. His ranking also correctly has New Orleans at #1, and shows that GS and Portland have been paper tigers so far and haven't proven their worth against quality competition.
Utah is currently in the top tier. Remember the power rankings are based on current results. And they have been playing out of their mind. I think that last game against Utah isn't so bad. After watching the Spurs suffer horribly against Utah I would say that the Rockets got off easy.
6 is really really...............................................really generous. Very generous, realistically I would say we are about 9-12, at best. This team has not played very well, this year. We've had some good games, but we haven't been outstanding, except for maybe the first three weeks of the season.
Sixths is way too high. Maybe he only considered the first three quarters of games. Then, I might believe it.
