    If you're reading this (and I know you are), I'm sorry that I have to fact check you here, but Jordan wasn't retired in 1995 when the Rockets won their 2nd ring. He was fishing, because he and the Bulls had just had their asses handed to them by Shaq, Penny Hardaway, and the Magic. You know, the team that you mention just earlier as having choked to the Rockets. But overall, terrible effort there. Sports Illustrated could replace you with an 8th-grader.

    dam with Houston writers like this who needs enemies in the outside media?

    i dont think theres another city where the writers consistently bash and disrespect the team, fans, and city.. its sad

    F lopez hes one of the most incompetent writers Ive read, up there with justice, the last time Ive read one of his articles is running about 3 yrs anyways so w/e

    Jordan left the game because of an 18 month gambling suspension. It originally was a two year ban cut short when Stern couldn't stomach the thought of a NY Houston rematch. At least, that is the unofficial rumor

    FWIW, I heard about 5 minutes of his morning show earlier this week and he was trying to convince Marc that Dennis Rodman only played 1 year with the Bulls.....

    Really, Houston just has some REALLY bad sports writers/commentators. I mean Barry freakin' Warner is back on the air, for cryin' out loud!

    Lopez is the reason why I stopped listening to the 610 morning show. He lost me at "Colt Mcoy playing in national Championshiop wouldn't have made much of a difference.." comment. His voice is irritating, he's not funny, and his stupid 'gotcha' comments are petty.. 610 get rid of the guy
