You know I didn't really hate the sign so much as I hated the pin stripes and the goofy Rocket. I think if they would have redone the rocket and taken off the pin stripes, and perhaps made the uniforms red.
I'd still like to see Sura and Wesley in 4th quarter. Defense in 4th quarter is more important than scoring. As JVG pointed out, right now Wesley is our best peremeter defender, "it's not even close." If we really need a score, sometimes put James and Wesley together might be better than Sura and Wesley together though. Also, there is a big question, how long can Mike James keep his hot shooting? He shot 3 for 12 yesterday. 4 games is not long enough to say he's a much better shooter than Wesley.

On top of that, it was taken mere minutes after T-Mac's brilliant 90 seconds against the Spurs. She doesn't have cable, and I listened to most of the 4th quarter on the radio outside her apt., and finally turned it off with two minutes to go. Thank God for the TiVo back at my place.

Early yet, but James reminds me of Bobby Jackson quite a bit. Does not always make good decisions with the ball, but is quick, aggresive, strong to the Rack, ball-hawk defender, streaky shooter with a penchant for hitting big threes. He is going to be AWESOME as the first option off the bench when Sura gets back. How this guy kept getting bumped aroung the league is a mystery to me. Back court seems set, find a quality 4 in the offseason, and start believing again. Thats the only piece missing.
about our logo/uni: IIRC there was a poll on nba.com to determine who had the best uni's in each divition. we won that poll. then there was a followup poll to determine which of the top 6 uni's (each divition winner) were the best in the league. we finnished about 4th in the league. chinease national team or not, all fans like or at least respect our new uni's. as for our logo. most people i talk to (and i'm the only rocket fan i know) will tell you that we have the best logo in the league. about mike james b!tch: all i have to say is we only gave up gaines and two second round picks and we have a guy who can score 20points, play tough D, and push the ball. and when all else fails, when the comentator says "mike james!...." we can allways sneak in "b!tch!" right after his name to piss our non rocket fan friends off. to the newbies: I am Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, your senior drill instructor.
