all you manning lovers are homo indy fans. i mean he plays in our division, so you have to hate him, even if you went to or root for the university of tenn and you've liked him since.
That is what I look at it He doesn't look like the typical Football player He almost looks like he was on the other side of the Revenge of the Nerds group Rocket River
I'm a big Colts fan since I'm from there. Still, it sure seems like we see the Colts a lot here in Houston. Last season, it was almost like they were the 2nd home team. Is that just because they get a lot of 3:00 p.m. games?
I got nothing against the guy. Football players, probably more than in any other sport, have the mentality of "get it while you can". The average career is around 4 years and contracts aren't guaranteed...at least not fully. Yes, I know were talking about who will probably be the best ever when it's all said and done. I don't mind that he's getting his. Some of the commercials are pretty damn funny. I liked the Sprint one from last season where he had a mustache on.
It gets annoying seeing him so often...but I must admit, some of the commercials are funny, and there are a lot more WORSE choices companies could choose than him. Edit: Like, for instance, Reggie Bush, who is NOT funny, NOT interesting and to top it all off, has done little to nothing in the NFL to justify the ad dollars he gets.
I think Manning is funny. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NZpPf-q2_es"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NZpPf-q2_es" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
I think he has a good sense of humour, and he is able to make fun of himself. They should give him his own sitcom, I would watch.
What a dick! Look where he is donating money to: Children's Hospital Kind of hard to rag on a guy, when he donates $50million to help sick kids.
Who would people prefer amongst NFL players? Peyton's the perfect choice. He's got the personality because he's just unavoidably awkward and he can play that up. He's the best player in football. And there's nothing more annoying than NFL commercials where they market players who haven't accomplished anything (see Bush, Reggie). I think Manning is one of the most difficult players to hate in football. He may kick your team's ass, but he does it like a man. When he lines up for a play, he knows he's going to beat you, and you know he's going to beat you. By the way, while we're on the subject, does anyone else love that commercial with Merriman? That's an excellent spot.
